Pastor David George didnt think hed ever have to use his concealed-carry gun to save lives. He certainly didnt expect to have to stand up to an act of evil in a Walmart parking lot. It just happened that way.
On a Sunday morning in June 2018, on Fathers Day, to be precise, George, who is pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Oakville, Wash., chose to give his sermon on The Value of MENtoring. He ended the sermon with the words Lord, dont let us be content as men to just let life go by, to see the world around us burn. God, instead, help us to get involved. A fiction writer might call that foreshadowing. |

We talk about Compact or Full size pistols quite often here on I Carry, and we wanted to devote an episode to explaining what some of these terms mean. Keep in mind that the terms used are general guidelines--theyre not set in stone--and some manufacturers might have slight differences. Were going to cover four basic sizes of semi-automatic pistols; this is not the be-all, end-all guide, of course, but a quick overview. Well cover some advantages and things to consider for each size. |

The historic Harrington Hotel in the District of Columbia [DC] will close during a planned massive pro-Trump rally in a bid to deny access to the city by those planning to protest the election results.
On January 6th, 2021, Trump supporters plan to descend on the capital city to protest the stolen presidential election results' certification peacefully. They claim that Biden won the election due to massive widespread fraud. The protestors point investigations by James O'Keefe and Project Veritas that show left-wing ballot harvesting efforts. They also point to the mathematical discrepancy that the statisticians can't easily explain away. |

During the lame-duck, Republicans also pushed through a measure to establish Ohio as a "Stand Your Ground" state stripping the requirement to retreat before using deadly force in self-defense into a bill that would grant civil immunity for deaths or injuries from handguns. However, DeWine has suggested he will veto the bill, after criticizing legislators for failing to pass any gun control measures following a deadly mass shooting in Dayton last year. |

Americas 700,000 owners of pistol braces received a gift from an unlikely source the day before Christmas Eve. However, the gift may be a Trojan horse were finding out closer to New Years Day.
On Dec. 23, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) announced it was withdrawing a notice and request for comments regarding stabilizing braces, titled Objective Factors for Classifying Weapons with Stabilizing Braces. |
