Get out your barf bags... another MMM function that garners media space. The article was published in the Front Section on the top of Page 3 with a Large Bold Headline. Please note there is no estimate of number of attendees... must have been a small turn-out!

Sad thing is the last time the pro-gun movement in CT demonstrated at the Capitol, we received very little press and it was buried away! And we had well over 500 people (closer to 700) in attendance.

"If Rhode Island wants the maximum level of security at the State House, no one but on-duty officers should be carrying concealed weapons in the building," the state police superintendent said.

But legislators disagreed, saying "security is enhanced when lawmakers who are current or retired police officers carry their guns in the House and Senate chambers."

KABA NOTE: What they mean is that THEIR security is enhanced, obviously all they care about.

A few strands of hair - lynx hair, to be precise - have touched off a political catfight that is being heard from the vast evergreen forests of the Pacific Northwest to the halls of Congress.

The spitting and hissing began last month, with the revelation that five federal wildlife biologists planted fur from a Canadian lynx - an officially "threatened" species - in the Wenatchee and Gifford Pinchott national forests in Washington.

WKYC Channel 3 misquoted the Ohio Constitution in their online and broadcast news reports tonight. Their version of the Constitution reads like this: Ohio's constitution reads "people have the fundamental right to bear arms, however, this right is not absolute." This sounds more like a quote from an anti-gun State Representative from Northeast Ohio to me. Please follow and contact WKYC to complain.

Two law enforcement support organizations are facing off over the sponsorship of a homeland security bill by Sen. Hillary Clinton. But the point of contention is not whether the legislation is acceptable, but whether anything the New York Democrat does can earn the endorsement of the police. First Letter On Page I'm voicing my opinion about the article, "Police gun victim had 2 warrants." I am consistently appalled when the media refer to a person who instigates a police shooting as the "victim." The most recent case was in Hayward, when Jason Strickland opened fire on the police officers when they found Strickland hiding in a bedroom closet.

In a plea bargain with New Jersey prosecutors, the rap musician will make a series of public-service announcements warning children of the dangers of guns and urging them to be kind to animals.

--1) Law enforcement allows a celebrity to pay for his "crimes" by issuing self-promoting liberal ideology television ads aimed at children.

--2) If you do drugs in your home which you share with 13 dogs, you're necessarily guilty of "animal cruelty?"

A federal appeals court rejected the city's lawsuit against the gun industry Friday, saying gunmakers aren't required to protect citizens from misuse of weapons. The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a decision by federal Judge Berle M. Schiller, who had dismissed the lawsuit. --Dismissals continue to phase out these frivolous lawsuits but it's going to take a while.

A Hale County constable was indicted Tuesday for allegedly drawing his gun on two men in a parking lot confrontation. The Hale County grand jury indicted Precinct 1 Constable Paul Drager on two class A misdemeanor counts of deadly conduct for the Dec. 19 incident, said District Attorney Terry McEachern. Bond was set at $2,500 for each count.
