Newly released court documents are adding to the confusion over how many times a sheriff's deputy fired in a fatal shooting.

Documents filed by the attorney of Ramirez's alleged accomplice say that Ritchie fired 13 times and that his gun held only eight bullets. The attorney is seeking internal documents from the sheriff's department. |
