Last Wednesday, as the Capitol in DC saw protestors turn violent, the Capitol in OKC saw protestors stay peaceful.
"There were probably a thousand people with guns, with legislators, with just common everyday citizens. We peacefully protested outside of the state Capitol. There was not one incident of any problem," said Don Spencer, President of the Oklahoma Second Amendment Association. |

The National Rifle Association says the nation's most powerful gun-rights organization has filed for bankruptcy and will seek to incorporate the nation's most politically influential gun-rights group in Texas instead of New York.
The announcement Friday comes months after New York's attorney general sued the NRA over claims that top executives illegally diverted tens of millions of dollars for lavish personal trips.
The coronavirus pandemic also forced the NRA last year to lay off dozens of employees, cancel its national convention and scuttle fundraising.

Its similar to what some patriot groups are recommending in Idaho. The John Birch Society and Idaho Three Percent dont plan to be involved in rallies protesting the 2020 Presidential Election. These are planned for state capitols across the country and in Washington, D.C.
There are some people planning a demonstration in Boise on the 17th and in neighboring Utah, the states new Governor is locking down the area around the Capitol. |

Mailchimp, the email marketing firm, has dropped a pro-Second Amendment nonprofit from using its platform to reach members, in a move critics see as another attempt in the tech industry to stifle conservative speech.
The Virginia Citizens Defense League has been using the Mailchimp service to send updates to its members.
The nonprofit's president, Philip Van Cleave, told Fox Business on Friday that Mailchimp ended the service without warning.
"It just came out of the blue," he said. "They said we just think it's too big of a risk, and we're just canceling your account. The timing was suspicious too, just a few days before our lobby day." |

I guess he figures thats a good place to start with his reunification campaign, since everyone in the country is in agreement that the NRA is bad Well, at least everyone other than the Associations 5 million, dues-paying members and the other 30 million or so gun owners who strongly support the NRA, along with the 75 million or more other American gun owners and patriots who basically agree with most of what the NRA does. Even those of us who are very critical of some of NRAs leaders, are still strongly supportive of the organization itself and its goals. In fact, our complaints primarily revolve around some NRA leaders using the organization to pad their own pockets, ... |
