The proposal comes after the Derby School District voted to keep a BB gun club from using an elementary school for events and practices, ending a nearly 30-year agreement with the club.
Kansas Rep. Blake Carpenter from Derby proposed the bill after hearing from people who were disappointed about the school board's decision.

According to Orlando police, officers were sent to investigate the home invasion at a home on Harwood Street, south of Colonial Drive and John Young Parkway, shortly after midnight.
Police said the two perpetrators knocked on the door and pushed their way inside when the homeowner came to the door. "You know what we're here for," the armed suspects said. |

We often say �Shoulder the gun,� but what we really mean is �Cheek the gun.� To be a consistent shot with a shotgun, it must shoot where you look, and to do so your cheek must be firmly on the comb. Look around your local gun club and you�ll see that 99 percent of the shooters shooting low gun ram the gun into their shoulder, then arc the muzzle up to their cheek. That�s backwards. The bird is up there, not on the ground. It must be cheek first, then shoulder.
