Im going to be honest with you: Im not a huge fan of the 380 ACP. I feel that its an anemic round that lacks the kinetic energy needed to reach an acceptable penetration depth for self-defense. Needless to say, Id feel a lot better with my trusty Glock 26 in 9mm Luger at my side over a Walther PPK or even an M&P Shield EZ. |

This is my second installment preceding the upcoming October 8 argument in Garland v. VanDerStok, a challenge to the regulatory redefinition of the term "firearm" in the Gun Control Act. By expanding the statutory definition, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) in its 2022 Final Rule purports to criminalize numerous innocent acts that Congress never made illegal.

Monroe County has abandoned the argument made in its response to a federal lawsuit that the Second Amendment does not apply to private citizens. Deputy County Attorney Robert Shoemaker originally made the argument in response to a complaint filed by the Firearms Policy Coalition. The national gun rights nonprofit had sued Attorney General Letitia James and three district attorneys, including Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley, over a statewide ban on civilian use of body armor.

When a political movements only guiding principle is an insatiable lust for power, the free exchange of ideas becomes public enemy No. 1. It should come as no surprise that the party that booed God at its national convention and has largely replaced faith with the perverse worship of the state feels that the ends always justify the means.

A recently unearthed video gives us some valuable insight into exactly who Kamala Harris is and what she really believes, Second Amendment attorney Kostas Moros reported Friday in Shooting News Weekly. The date was June 28, 2008 and anti-gun politicians were reeling from the announcement of the Supreme Courts Heller decision guaranteeing an individual right to keep and bear arms. They could see what it meant for gun control laws on the books in cities all over the country and they werent happy about it.

In a surprising move, the far-left American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed an amicus brief last week with the liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that mirrored similar briefs filed by the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC).
