Unquestionably, it's becoming awkward to engage in conversations with your liberal friends. They are aghast to hear that you still intend to vote for Donald Trump. They will refer to numerous elements of his personality which they don't like. They will refer to media reports, which surround them, portraying Trump in a highly negative light.

When it comes to shotgun ammunition, there are plenty of choices. And while most shooters are very familiar with certain types, like the 00 buck, each bullet size and pellet count is different.
The size of the buckshot bullets, or shot, will decrease as the shot type number increases with buckshot for larger game and bird shot for smaller game. This means 000 buck is very large compared to #12 bird shot with #1 buck right in the middle. |

COVID-19 has really sucked the jelly out of our donut this year with many great events canceled due to the pandemic. The latest victim, perhaps the most epic gun event of them all, is the Knob Creek machine gun shoot originally scheduled for Oct. 10 and 11. Normally, Id be meeting up with my friends at the event for three days of shopping, shooting and stress-release through extreme firepower. Upwards of 20,000 other folks would have been doing the same. But alas, it's canceled so here I am, writing about it. Knob Creek Dreaming, I suppose. |

The radicals in the Northwest have not accomplished anything of merit yet to earn the phrase, only in Seattle. While it is tempting to create a harrowingly hazardous weekly column focused on the craziness of Washington politics and theatrics that is the dichotomy to the pampered and pillowed safe zone enabling cantankerous insanity, these thermodynamically reckless people just dont deserve accolades for regularly burgling time, energy, and tax dollars. But this unsettling plot and critique on the devolving status of society deserves mention as it could happen anywhere, even in red areas if propagated by a specific set of circumstances. |

The first Mossberg 500s were produced in 1960, and it wasnt long before enthusiasts discovered the reliability and performance that has kept it at or near the top in shotgun sales ever since. Theres a lot to like in this rugged pump-action, one designed before most readers were even born.

In the last few months, the Trump-Pence team has held a plethora of press conferences and pool sprays during which theyve taken hostile liberal questions, while Joe Bidens campaign has called a lid on the press many days and has lidded Kamala Harris from the national press since she was picked in August.

The Second Amendment protects one of our most fundamental rights. Gun ownership, whether for self-defense at home or as the last gasp against tyranny, is an essential liberty. On the North Coast, where hunting is a tradition for many families, guns are also a staple of our culture.

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
[The American Colonies were] all democratic governments, where the power is in the hands of the people and where there is not the least difficulty or jealousy about putting arms into the hands of every man in the country. [European countries should not] be ignorant of the strength and the force of such a form of government and how strenuously and almost wonderfully people living under one have sometimes exerted themselves in defence of their rights and liberties and how fatally it has ended with many a man and many a state who have entered into quarrels, wars and contests with them. George Mason, "Remarks on Annual Elections for the Fairfax Independent Company" in The Papers of George Mason, 1725-1792, ed Robert A. Rutland (Chapel Hill, 1970). |
