If you quickly glance at 38 Special and 357 Magnum ammo, you might not notice any differences and think they were the same round. Although they are almost identical in their case dimensions, the 38 Special and 357 Magnum are extremely different. |

Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn) continues to shoot himself in the foot on the campaign trail. Or he would, if he knew how to load the gun. Video of the Democratic nominee for vice president out on a pheasant hunt this weekend was supposed to be part of the Harris-Walz tickets outreach to men. Polls show Harris support is softening, Trump is gaining, and a major part of the problem is a lack of support among men working class men in particular.

The cartels in Mexico are known for, if nothing else, violence. Theyre responsible for the vast majority of drugs trafficked into the United States, and Mexican authorities claim as much as two-thirds of all the intentional homicides in the country are tied to organized crime. So whos responsible for all this violent crime? Many would assume the answer is the cartels but not Mexico. According to our neighbor to the south, American guns are used in most of the murders, so clearly US firearm manufacturers are to blame. |

The vast majority of times when armed citizens are involved in self-defense shootings the person doing the shooting is arrested, cuffed and taken to the police station. Fingerprints are generally taken, and a night in jail waiting to be bonded out isnt uncommon. Murder or manslaughter charges are sometimes filed, and the defender makes all the newspapers and police reports, resulting in a sullied reputation at the very least. |

Century Arms and Sharps Brothers have collaborated for the past year on a new American-made AK pattern rifle that incorporates a milled receiver and an AR15 Mil-Spec buffer tube. The new MB47 resembles something that looks like a circa 1950s Type 2 AK that met up with a Eugene Stoner acolyte and coughed up something altogether different. The MB47's two-pound receiver is a case-hardened billet 4140 milled receiver rather than stamped, which cuts down on flex.

The five-member Okeechobee, Florida city council and Police Chief Donald Hagan may each be forced to pay $5,000 personally without using taxpayer dollars for violating Floridas powerful preemption statute, which only allows the state legislature to regulate firearms. As previously reported, the city adopted an illegal ordinance shortly before Hurricane Helene made landfall, which banned the sale of guns and ammunition and prohibited firearm possession in public by anyone other than law enforcement or members of the military. |
