"Authorities said a 17-year-old boy had taken the rifle from a gun cabinet and was holding it when the weapon fired into Madalyn's face. Madalyn, the 17-year-old boy and three other teens had gathered at the 973 Shorewood Lane residence to celebrate the victim's birthday."

Notice how the weapon fired ALL BY ITSELF, according to this story. It, of course, has nothing to do with the teenager who pulled the trigger.

"Gruner + Jahr Printing and Publishing Co. said in court papers Tuesday that O'Donnell's decision to quit Rosie magazine has or will cost them "in excess of $100 million dollars in damages." The filing claims O'Donnell, who announced Sept. 18 she was quitting the magazine, breached her contract with G+J and publicly disparaged the magazine."

Previous reports said Rosie pulled out because she wasn't allowed to use the magazine to vent her personal, unAmerican beliefs about, among other things, gun control.
