Free-lance Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, journalist Josh Kruger was shot and killed at his home in the city on Monday morning around 1:30 a.m. after mocking those who raised concerns about surging crime.

Kruger was shot seven times, according to ABC News.

President Joe Biden is signaling he intends to sign legislation to protect funding for hunting and archery programs in schools across the country following humiliating defeats in the House and Senate.

Breitbart News reported that the legislation, the Protecting Hunting Heritage and Education Act, was sponsored by Rep. Mark Green (R-TN). It passed in the Republican-controlled House by a vote of 424-1.

Billy McLaughlin, spokesman for the National Rifle Association (NRA), also said the uptick in women's firearm purchases stems from the desire to protect themselves and their loved ones, telling FOX News Digital it is a core component of the Second Amendment. "Women are decisively stepping forward, underscored by a 77% increase in female gun ownership between 2005 and 2020, and the noteworthy rise in firearm purchases by Black women, recorded by 87% of gun stores in the first half of 2021.

The state of New York has been ordered to pay almost half a million dollars to the National Rifle Association over a case that the Supreme Court ruled on last year. The case, New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen, was decided on by the Supreme Court in June 2022, with the 6-3 decision stating that New York's long-standing concealed carry law violated the Second Amendment of the Constitution. A New York judge has since ordered the state to pay the NRA $447,700.82 in legal fees, as the NRA was a party in the Supreme Court's case.

I have been curious about what age group is most vulnerable to crime, so I did some research and it looks like the elderly population "wins" the proverbial jackpot in several different styles of victimization. There are tons of articles and information out there that support my research, so much so, that I have had to narrow down my article�s subject matter to just theft/burglary.

A gun rights group filed a lawsuit challenging a new Colorado law imposing a minimum three-day waiting period for gun purchases on Sunday, the same day the waiting period went into effect. Rocky Mountain Gun Owners filed the suit in federal court and is seeking a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction on the new law to prevent its enforcement on Second Amendment grounds.

Miracles can occur and the development of the M1 Garand might just qualify as one. This particular miracle had a bit of help thanks to the hard work of its inventor, John Garand, and a host of others. John Garand (pronounced �Gare-Rand� with the emphasis on the first syllable) was in actuality simply a civil service employee of the U.S. government. During his tenure at Springfield Armory, he put his talents to good use, eventually developing the final model of what would become the famous M1 rifle of WWII.
