One ad for the program features a man standing behind bars and the slogan: "We'll keep the piece."
Thousands of posters and stickers will be displayed and handed out at police stations, schools, and youth centers. |

...upsetting to the Perkasie father was the look of the pellet gun. Even to an experienced marksman, the gun looks startlingly like the kind of firearm carried by police.
"At first, before I knew it was something he wasn't supposed to have if he was under 18, I wasn't that concerned because he knows how to handle a gun; he's been hunting since he was 12," he said. "But when I saw this -- well, it's incredible. It is just so authentic. This has the potential for harm in various ways." |

Euless, TX -- A Trinity High School sophomore afraid he was going to be beaten up carried a loaded handgun around the school for most of Thursday before he was detained by a school resource officer and a school official, police said Friday.
The gun belonged to the boy's father, police said.
"He had taken it out of a safe where his father kept it," Kockos said. "We don't anticipate to pursue any charges against the father. He did everything he could to keep the gun in a safe place."
KABA NOTE: If schools were safe, students wouldn't feel a need to exercise their constitutional right to keep and bear arms. |
