The .50 Action Express cartridge is, without a doubt, one of the worlds most powerful pistol cartridges. It features a .500-inch bullet diameter (33mm) in a 1.285-inch straight-walled case that has a rebated rim. The overall length of the standard .50 AE round measures 1.610 inches, and the ammo is powered with a large pistol primer. A gun festival thats expected to draw thousands of people to a Pike County gun shop will go on as planned this weekend, despite Gov. Tom Wolfs directive limiting crowd sizes at outdoor events to 250 people. The Rod of Iron Freedom Festival at Kahr Arms in Greeley drew about 4,000 attendees last year and is expected to attract as many as 10,000 people this year given the volatile political climate over protecting the Second Amendment right to bear arms, organizers said. |

The RXS-250 brings a MIL-STD-810F impact-resistant design to shooters who use and abuse their optics. Bushnell says the red dot offers a rugged cast aluminum housing that protects both the glass and internal components. Additionally, the RXS-250 is IP67 dust and waterproof rated, so much so that Bushnell says it can be submerged in water -- so go ahead and dunk that puppy if you must. |

In a further sign that gun control is not a winning issue in 2020, Georgia Democratic U.S. Senate candidate John Ossoff is running ads where he deceitfully claims that he would defend our Second Amendment. In truth, Ossoffs support for unconstitutional gun control, including a ban on commonly-owned semi-automatic firearms like the AR-15, has gotten him the endorsement of billionaire Michael Bloombergs anti-gun group Everytown for Gun Safety. |

Since November 9, 2016, the day after Trump was elected, the leftists who now make up the American Democrat party have been in a nonstop tizzy. They have proven incapable of accepting that they lost at the ballot box and have used every underhanded and lunatic tactic available to evict Trump from the White House. For many of these initiatives, they've had the Supreme Court helping them out.

There are now more than 19.48 million citizens licensed (or with carry permits) to carry concealed handguns in the United States, and it might be more except for the shutdown in several states on accepting new applications because of the COVID-19 outbreak earlier this year.
That was the report from the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC), founded and headed by firearms researcher and author John Lott. He spoke during the recent virtual Gun Rights Policy Conference co-hosted by the Second Amendment Foundation and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. |

Since the death of Associate U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in mid-September, the more vociferous elements of the radical left have called for a total transformation of the high court should the Democratic Party capture the presidency and the U.S. Senate in November. These extreme voices have called for an end to the Senate filibuster in order to enable a purely partisan court-packing scheme that would secure a left-wing majority on the Supreme Court.

Among all the action-shooting sports, Steel Challenge has experienced one of the largest participation increases in recent years. Looking at the match itself, its not hard to see why. Steel Challenge consists of eight different stages that always remain the same. Each stage features five white metal plateseither 18x24-inch rectangles, or 10- to 12-inch round plates. One plate is marked with a red post as the Stop Plate and must be hit last. Theyre set in various arrays at distances of seven to 35 yards, and require a lot of lateral gun movement to engage. There are no scoring rings. Any hit on a plate scores.

The first fork in the road I remember came in fourth grade. One day my teacher said she would like me to spend a couple weeks with the fifth graders. After those two weeks she asked if I would like to go into the fifth grade permanently. There was the choice. Should I stay on the road marked fourth grade or did I fork off into the fifth grade? I chose the latter. For the rest of my school days, I was always one grade ahead and graduated after 11 years, instead of 12. Was it a good or bad choice?

My 90-year-old father, who still kills deer with incredible consistency each year during Minnesotas archery season, faced a conundrum last fall. For several years, we had hunted under Antler Point Restrictions, which require us to shoot bucks with at least four points on one side. During the APR era, Pops had passed on several bucks hed have happily killed. But last season, the state lifted the APR in our unit in order to combat the spread of chronic wasting disease. Now Dad could hang his tag on any buck he liked. So what would he do? |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling in terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? [...] The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!" Alexander Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago (Chapter 1 "Arrest") |
