It is familiar political ground in the Pacific Northwest, with rising homicide numbers providing strong evidence that gun controls in Washington have been an abject failure.

Seattle has recorded its 52nd homicide, and with two full months remaining in the year, there is no doubt the number will eventually exceed the 53 recorded two years ago. The city, as previously reported, is headquarters to the billionaire-backed gun prohibition lobbying group Alliance for Gun Responsibility.

With inflation, prices are up pretty much across the board, but if you're looking for a new gun for recreation or self-defense, here's a hint: the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is offering them at an absolute steal. Seriously, the federal agency tasked with enforcing firearms regulations has such poor security that thousands of guns and gun parts once in its possession disappeared in the hands of thieves. And it has yet to fully implement recommended reforms.

Kshama Sawant, Seattle City councilor and member of the revolutionary Marxist organization Socialist Alternative Party, has been an enthusiastic proponent of drastic cuts to local law enforcement funding, calling the police a racist, violent institution. In a 2018 speech, she explained her view that the Seattle police have had a long record of police brutality and racial bias, and that this is an ongoing problem For many on the left, the police are the force that physically stops you from exercising your free speech rights, the force that defends the interests of the billionaires and those in power against everyone else. And the reality is, that is how big business and corporate politicians use police forces around the world.

The standard AR-15 chambered in 5.56 NATO is truly Americas rifle and is a symbol of American ingenuity and freedom. Although the 5.56 NATO has proven itself in the jungles of Vietnam and deserts of Iraq, some gun owners wanted something more

The Second Amendment Foundation has cautioned the mayor of Redwood City, Calif., against continuing a moratorium on allowing firearms retail sales within its jurisdiction, which could result in litigation against the city on Second Amendment grounds. The city has adopted an Urgency Ordinance which placed a moratorium on firearms dealers from opening businesses within the city. Extensions on the moratorium, if voted for, may last for up to two years.

Alot of hunters would be happy to spend 150 days deer hunting over the course of five years, but Billy Phillips does it every year. This is thanks to a long season, unlimited doe tags, and damage permits. Hes been using a tree saddle since 2006, so while there are many hunters using tree saddles these days and sharing their tips, Phillips has more than a decade of deep experience with them. If youre looking for a saddle hunting expert, you wont do much better than him.

When ATN was founded in 1995, it had the goal to become the disruptive force in the optics industry. Now, 27 years later, few people can say it hasnt accomplished that mission. But the company isnt done yet. It still serves elite military and law enforcement units, but it also wants to bring thermal and night vision to the masses with affordable options.

A young man and his buddy tried to drive away from a bar. That doesnt sound like part of an attack and armed defense, but it was in this case. This self-defense story starts to unfold at about 11:30 on a Friday night outside the Steam Pub in Southampton Township. The pub is about 16 miles north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the pub takes its name from an old train station. Two men tried to leave the pub, but four men were leaning on their car in the parking lot. The four men began punching the two men as they tried to enter their car and drive away.

A Fairfax County, Virginia mother raised concerns about an assignment that prompted students to analyze an anti-Secondment Amendment persuasive essay sample. The concerned parent, Darcey Geissler, sent Fox News Digital the essay that made a case for gun control. Responding to the principals email about her concern over the assignment, Geissler called the assignment "a poorly written, factually and legally inaccurate essay, written by an adult parading as a child, being used to once again advance a political agenda."

Michael Bennett and Republican challenger Joe ODea answering questions to moderators about gun rights and gun control. The first debate didnt address issues pertinent to the firearm and ammunition industry or Second Amendment rights. This second debate showed contrasting policy positions.

Denmark was shaken to its core in July when a 22-year-old opened fire in Copenhagens Field's mall, killing three people and injuring several others. Home to some of the strictest gun laws in Europe, the shooting left many wondering what the Danish government would do to prevent similar tragedies from happening again.

In July, the Montgomery County Council proposed a truly draconian piece of legislation: Bill 21-22. That Bill sought to defy the US Supreme Courts opinion in NYSRPA v. Bruen by effectively banning the possession, transport, sale, and transfer of firearms in any place (public or private) in the County where people may assemble. As proposed, the Bill was specifically designed to include in its bans wear and carry permit holders by repealing the existing exemption for such permit holders currently found in the County Code.

The disheartening prologue to the first plot of a trilogy profiling the lifecycle and struggles of a small business owner swept away from the shore in a riptide of discontent, highlights a journey that began with a married couple escaping the stifling regime of Beijing to settle in the US and start a family. Intertwined within the storys timeline is a chorus of suburban apologists, naive to the rigors of the world, who militantly construct an agenda based on emotion rather than fact.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
[The American Colonies were] all democratic governments, where the power is in the hands of the people and where there is not the least difficulty or jealousy about putting arms into the hands of every man in the country. [European countries should not] be ignorant of the strength and the force of such a form of government and how strenuously and almost wonderfully people living under one have sometimes exerted themselves in defence of their rights and liberties and how fatally it has ended with many a man and many a state who have entered into quarrels, wars and contests with them. George Mason, "Remarks on Annual Elections for the Fairfax Independent Company" in The Papers of George Mason, 1725-1792, ed Robert A. Rutland (Chapel Hill, 1970).
