"Patients at the country's hospitals should no longer be able to choose a Danish instead of a foreign doctor. A number of hospitals have now issued rulings stating that patients who discriminate racially will not be treated - unless in an acute emergency." ------- Are the patients "racists" or perhaps just concerned with the possibility that some foreign doctors either have only third-world training or are accepted into Danish medical schools under a lower standard due to "affirmative-action" programs?
Does a patient have a right to choose his or her own doctor, for whatever personal reason? |
