The Hornady V-MAX line of ammunition was created for varmint control, as the bullet has a thin jacket and was designed to fragment on impact with a target, even at low velocities. For many years, your standard varmint ammo was pretty much whatever you had on hand, and this produced mixed results depending on what you were shooting. The V-MAX has a lot of features to make sure any critter is humanely dispatched immediately and is extremely accurate.

AR-15s are some of the most popular rifles in America. Demonized and misunderstood, the liberal media has made the firearm its favorite punching bag whenever theres a mass shooting. if the shooter isnt white or didnt use this firearm during the crime, then itll suffer the Jeffrey Epstein treatment and get buried. If it doesnt help the Democrats, it gets smothered. So, when its discovered that AR-15s are widely used by female gun owners due to its lightweight and low-recoil, then you know such stories arent going to see the light of day. Luckily, the Washington Free Beacons Stephen Gutowski, who is the sites firearms reporter, has taken up that burden.

When we think of the evolution of the modern revolver, we typically think of highlights like the Peacemaker, the Registered Magnum or the Python. While those examples represent some of the most-important chapters in the larger story of the development toward the modern revolvers that surround us today, they sometimes tend to overshadow a developmental timeline punctuated by many lesser, but noteworthy, designs.

In the last century, scores of millions of defenseless civilians were slaughtered by totalitarian regimes that first disarmed them. Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, communist China, the Ottoman Turks, and several dozen other despotic regimes committed mass murder of millions upon millions. Historically, genocide follows confiscation of arms as surely as day follows night.

CBS News and other news agencies were quick to report the high courts decision to not hear the case, which allows the lawsuit to move forward in Connecticut state court.

Northam has declared war on Virginia's gun owners: CHP holders, open carriers, hunters, target shooters, sport shooters, collectors, and competitors. All of us. (Northam wants to strip us of our right to self-defense and is even looking at confiscating guns.) So be it! But we are very much in the fight. As the dust cloud has been settling from election day, my optimism that we can derail a lot of Northam's agenda has been growing steadily.

Holland & Holland, a firearms company from England, developed the .375 H&H Magnum in 1912 a cartridge that would eventually come to be called the Queen of the Medium Bores. The .375 H&H Mag was specifically designed for hunting big game in Africa, and it was successful. The cartridge is sufficient to harvest any large game animal on the continent, including the Big Five species. Although it's been around for over 100 years, it still warrants respect, and is often chosen by both professional hunters and sportsmen. The .375 is the base of Holland & Holland's most popular cartridge, the .300 H&H Magnum.

The woods probably won't be as crowded when firearm deer hunting season starts this Friday because the number of hunters has been dropping for decades and it's impacting more than just the number of deer being harvested. The number of hunting licenses has gone down by about 50% over the last few decades, but why? "License prices have gone up...used to be you could buy a doe license for $4. Now it's gotten to, I believe, $20 a piece," said Brett Griffis, owner of Jerome Country Market.

A quiet bang. The smell of gun powder. The sound of a bolt racking a new bullet into place.

This is the atmosphere Alexa Potts lives in between classes as she practices at MSUs gun range in the basement of button auditorium. She said hard work and faith pushed her to receive the prestigious Ohio Valley Conference Scholar-Athletes Award.

Its definitely very inspiring and motivates me just to keep working, Potts said during an interview with MSU Athletics.

Potts was one of six athletes in the nation to receive the OVC award based on both academic and competitive performance. Her academic focus is in the justice system where she is working on a double-major in the legal studies program.
