To express my support of the Second Amendment, I joined the 2AS group here in Otsego County when it was first organized. For far too long, the New York State government has passed more and more insane gun controls without seeming to care at all that they may be unconstitutional infringements to my right to keep and bear arms.
I also am sick of the insulting name-calling pro-gun control people use to label us. |

With [COVID-19], the sales went up, and then it slowed down a little bit, and then with this presidential election thing sales shot right up, Switzer said. I cant keep ammo in here. It goes out the doors as fast as I get it in. People come in here screaming for 9 millimeter, 45 millimeter, 40, all kinds of calibers. Even hunting, I cant get it, because the factories are so short handed, they cant get all the components.
South Carolina does not have a county-by-county breakdown on gun sales, a record-breaking 431,032 background checks have been completed statewide as of Oct. 31. Last year, 328,221 were completed in the full year. |

Tarrio said Chapmans remarks do not reflect the members of his organization. He also said the Proud Boys have diverse members in chapters across the country.
I live in South Florida, said Tarrio, who is Cuban. Most of my members are Cuban and Jewish. The minority is white.
The group has also been criticized for street violence and members in the past have been arrested for brawling with counter-protesters at events. Tarrio said the Proud Boys dont shy from defending themselves.
Self-defense itself is violent, he said. And that is something were really good at, and I think weve proven it again and again. |

Attempting to provide an all-in-one gun and basic defensive training solution, Lone Wolf Distributors has introduced its new Guardian pistol. |

Boebert famously faced off against former Congressmanand failed presidential candidateBeto ORourke (D-Texas). When ORourke admitted to the world that Hell, yes he intended to confiscate semi-automatic rifles during a debate last year, Lauren Boebert traveled several hours to attend one of his town hall meetings in Aurora, Colo.
Hell, no, youre not, she said, amid jeers and booing from ORourkes supporters. |

Alito said he was not criticizing officials for their policy decisions Im a judge, not a policymaker and said before launching into the speech that he hoped his remarks would not be twisted or misunderstood.
Alito, one of the courts most conservative members, said it would be hard to imagine before the pandemic that speeches and concerts would be off-limits and that churches would be empty on Easter and synagogues vacant on sacred holidays. The Supreme Court itself has been closed to the public since March, and the justices hold their meetings and hear oral arguments via teleconference. |

The draft legislation, which was provided to some lawmakers in late September, was first reported by The Miami Herald and the Tampa Bay Times this week. Florida's self-defense law would be updated to include looting, criminal mischief and arson "that results in the interruption or impairment of a business operation" as justifications for using physical force, including lethal options, against a person.
Looting "means committing burglary within 500 feet of a violent or disorderly assembly," according to the draft legislation, which was shared with NBC News. |

Bowen says hes an army veteran and the former commander of the Ohio 45th Regimental Volunteer Infantry, a group in which he is still an active member. He says hes tired of attacks from the left and sees demonstrations like the one he attended as a positive sign.
We've taken enough bullying from everybody on the left, and we're showing them that we're not going to sit for it anymore. And if it comes down to it, I'll die on my feet before I serve on my knees, he said. |

It is one in the morning when a store clerk served customers at a small convenience store. Two more customers came into the store, only these customers were dressed in black, were wearing masks, and carrying guns. The robbers waved their guns at everyone near the counter and demanded the money from the cash register. The clerk was armed and shot both attackers. One fell to the ground while the second attacker shot back as he ran from the store. His shots wounded the store clerk and a bystander. The store clerk checked on the customers and then called 911. |

Local gun and ammunition dealers have confirmed that they had difficulty keeping deer hunting ammunition in stock this year.
Nobody can find anything, said Royce Holland, the owner of Fullers Gun and Pawn. The supply chain has just broke down.
He finds that people are buying up every round they can get and either hoarding hoarding ammunition or flipping it in online auctions, such as gunbroker.com. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
Some writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins ... Society is in every state a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one. THOMAS PAINE |
