The Michigan Department of Natural Resources reports that some hunters may not have been able to purchase a base license and deer kill tags Saturday.
This is because of "unforeseen technical issues with the licensing system provided by Sovereign Sportsman Solutions," according to the DNR.
The department says it is working with the vendor to resolve these issues, which are occurring across several states.
Hunters are encouraged to continue checking online or with local retailers for updates.
As usual, DNR conservation officers will be patrolling throughout the season. Over the next several days, officers will take these circumstances into consideration while making contacts with hunters. |

The CBS News affiliate in SeattleKIRO-TVis reporting how downtown Seattle businesses that put up plywood before the election are beginning to take it down because there have been no destructive protests in the wake of the presidential race that presumably went to Joe Biden.
Its not that the Far Left extremists were satisfied, its because conservativesespecially gun ownersdont riot. They dont brazenly destroy someone elses property because they didnt get their way. They dont smash store fronts, loot or burn. |

Regardless of where one falls politically, the sanctity of the vote is a bedrock of a functioning representative democracy. Voters have to believe their vote matters. And that the vote is free, fair, and accurate.
The basic facts of the 2020 American Presidential election are concerning because mounting evidence indicates theres been a concerted effort by state Democratic Parties to flip the election from President Donald Trump to former Vice President Joe Biden in a number of key swing states with the help of notoriously corrupt Democratic Party machines in at least five American cities Detroit, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Pittsburg, and Atlanta. |

Q: I recently purchased a U.S. Model 1917 rifle and would like to get the proper bayonet. I came across an M1917 bayonet with plastic grips marked GEN CUT. I was a bit confused, as all the other M1917 bayonets Ive seen have wooden grips and were made by Winchester or Remington. Would any of these be correct with my rifle?
A: The M1917 bayonet you encountered was manufactured by the General Cutlery Co. (Fremont, Ohio) during 1966-67 for use with combat shotguns equipped with bayonet adapters (trench guns). |

Since 1982, the name Glock has been synonymous with dependability, to the point that the company's sole motto is "Perfection." Setting the bar high may seem like bluster but it is clear when you see the lists of best-selling pistols, talk to a Glock fan, or attend a shooting class that the company is doing something right. Further, you don't have to be a Glock fan to concede that their pistols just flat-out work, cycling thousands upon thousands of rounds without a hiccup. |

As both elections for Georgias seats in the U.S. Senate head towards runoff elections on January 5, it is important to note where the candidates stand on your rights. Both elections are crucial for the future of the Second Amendment in this country. In this first of two installments, well break down the race between Sen. David Perdue (R) and Jon Ossoff (D), who both purport to be in support of the Second Amendment, but, in reality, only one of them really is pro-freedom. |

Introduced in 1980, the 9x21mm IMI was a creation between the Franco Benvenuti agency of Italy and Israel Military Industries (IMI). Many countries, including Italy and most of the European Union, have banned the use of all military ammunition, such as the 9mm Parabellum. In order to circumvent gun control measures, the collaborative effort to create a substitute ammunition was seen as a good resolution and would allow civilians to own and use a powerful cartridge without fear of repercussions. |
