"What about cases where a state is clearly attacking, even murdering, its own citizens? The libertarian would urge the citizens of that country, using their right to bear arms, to overthrow the despots. Notice that the right to bear arms...is the key to preventing and remedying such a states terrorism against its own citizens." --James Ostrowski, Attorney At Law

"Americans are clamoring for security, which presumably also means the right of self-defense, and proposals to arm commercial airline pilots are receiving wide support. Why then, are nationalists and patriots undergoing harassment and defamation on the subject of firearms by governmental bodies and the media? ... Our Masters hope that such quiet, selective denials will not provoke opposition from the public. Lets dash their hopes." --Paul Fallavollita

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia said that if Americans were asked to vote on creating a national identification card, he would probably cast his ballot against the idea.

"If you think it's a bad idea to have an identity card, persuade your fellow citizens through the amendment process, rather than asking courts to make policy," he said.

"...terrorists and criminals are able to buy guns at gun shows because there is no requirement for a background check," Americans for Gun Safety and Gun Violence Prevention Center of Utah said.

But Janalee Tobias, the head of Utah's Women Against Gun Control, decried the attempt to paint the proposed gun show legislation as an anti-terrorism measure.

"Shame on them for exploiting the most tragic event in American history, and using it for their political gain. I am so tired of the irrational gun haters dividing our community and our nation. Do they think one more gun law will stop terrorists?"

The pro gun former President of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization of Women says:

"Those of us on the fringes, who rely on individual liberty, have got to make a choice to reject this idea that people with divergent opinions, even if we don't like them, have to be shut down."

"The left has told us that inside each one of us is a little Hitler that if left to our own devices, we'd kill Jews, enslave blacks and throw women back into the dark ages."

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American... The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state government, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people. Tench Coxe, Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788.
