"In the 2004 elections, America was faced with a tough decision: Kerry or Bush. Coming down to the wire, many of us had to choose between particular issues under each candidate's platform that we felt confident were important. One issue, although not the main one, that helped me choose was gun control." ...
"Gun control advocates would cite crime and murder rates involving the use of guns in general, or assault rifles to be specific. In my opinion, this is quite laughable. Yes, I agree that guns may be and have been used to facilitate the bad intentions of many a criminal mind; but that is just one side of the token. Countless individuals have seen the good a sturdy double barreled shotgun can do when confronted by a home invader ..." ... |

A DOPEY pilot triggered a major security alert at an airport after a GUN was found in his bag.
The pistol and ammunition were uncovered during a routine check in the freight area of Bournemouth International, Dorset.
The private security staff in charge of passenger safety called in police, who arrested the 60-year-old uniformed pilot.
Closer examination revealed the weapon was in fact a starting pistol and the airman was cautioned under the Aviation Security Act.
It is believed the pilot, from Kent, picked up the wrong bag as he left for work on Tuesday.
Dorset police said: "At no time was any member of the public at risk." |
