"The first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution--commonly known as the Bill of Rights--are the highest law of the land. ...no legal provision exists for the suspension of the Bill of Rights, in time of war or any other emergency. Any government employee, elected or appointed, from policeman to President, who violates it, no matter what justification he offers, is a criminal. ..." L.Neil Smith |

"Getting a head start on the holiday season, airport security guards have already begun their Christmas shopping by stealing air travelers' belongings. Unless they pilfer possessions worth more to you than making your plane and avoiding an enormous hassle, there's nothing you can do.
"A security guard took a piece of my jewelry at the Spokane Airport... with approval from his Olympic Security supervisor. The supervisor called airport police when I asked for her name..." Ann Coulter |

For the past 9 months, state troopers have been firing new handguns and collecting the spent casings. Minute markings on the brass shells are identified and digitized for storage in an electronic ballistics database. The idea is that each casing carries marks unique to the handgun it's fired from, hence the nickname "gun DNA."
Police hope that this high-tech database will help investigators match evidence found at crime scenes with particular handguns. |

Prime Minister Chretien pulled Canadian troops from the Afghanistan war effort because "We don't want to get in a big fight over there".
You should read how your neighbour to the north treats anyone who calls his/her self a "refugee".
At the bottom of the editorial are email links to the Prime Minister and Minister of Immigration. Please write them, but don't expect an intelligent reply. The Liberal party knows what's best, and won't listen to other opinons. |
