A Massachusetts retired detective has been charged with murdering his wife by prosecutors who say the man was having an affair and didn't want to share his pension when he fatally shot her--and then staged her death as a suicide.
Amy Fanion, 51, died of a gunshot wound to the head in May 2018. Her husband, Brian Fanion, 55, who served with the Westfield Police Department for 33 years, was indicted on a murder charge Thursday, prosecutors said. |

Sometimes, gun enthusiasts get all bogged down arguing about which is the best defensive pistol, the best caliber, the best ammo and the smartest way to carry. When we run out of those topics, we can always fall back on whether the Weaver Stance or the Isosceles Stance is best.
Now, these are all things that defensive shooters have to work out for themselves. But I would suggest to you that these discussion topics are way down the list of important things to consider when your desire to to stay alive. Right off the top of my head, here are three things that are more important than all of the topics listed above. |

Mec-Gar USA is proud to announce they have upgraded their 9mm 19 round CZ 75 magazine with their new Drop Protection System(DPS) floorplate. The new floorplate design functions like their current +2 but uses technological designs from the building industry to reduce and redistribute shock when the magazine is dropped on a hard surface during competition or self-defense use. This new technology greatly reduces the chance of damage to the floorplate, or it coming off as it hits the hard surface. Each magazine has Mec-Gars proprietary anti-friction coating which makes loading and unloading the magazine easier when shooting which leads to fewer malfunctions. |

Of all the news networks, MSNBC probably ranks further left than even Trump-deranged CNN. Yet a recent segment on MSNBC didnt go as planned as gun owners they interviewed panned the Democrat candidates for their gun control proposals on live television.
In fact, host Ali Velshi suffered the indignity of gun owners openly laughing at Robert Francis ORourkes and others plans to buy back or confiscate their guns. |

The U.S. Supreme Court will determine whether to hear Remington Arms Co. v. Soto, a high-profile case featuring the families of those killed in the Sandy Hook shooting versus the venerable American firearm institution.
In the cross hairs: Americas Rifle, the AR-15, which was (mis)used during the Sandy Hook mass shooting.
If taken up, Remington could become one of the widest-reaching firearm manufacturing cases in a decade, since the Court took up DC vs. Heller in 2008. Heller upheld individual self defense as part of the Second Amendment. |

Expanding background checks, and delaying the purchase of, trade or resale of guns, ammunition, and gun gear and accessories like magazines and buttstocks is merely another muscular attempt to slowly whittle away at the true efficacy of the right codified in the Second Amendment.
It is merely another mechanism to reduce the right of the people to keep and bear arms to a nullity. It need hardly be said that most criminals dont obtain their firearms lawfully. |
