Thank God for Donald J. Trump. In addition to owning libs on the reg, our president has quite literally rescued Christmas from the brink of extinction. In the War of Liberal Aggression Against Christmas (WLAAC), the 2016 election was the Battle of Stalingrada valiant and improbable victory for patriotic forces over a ruthless and determined foe.

Another legal voice has been added to the growing chorus vowing not to actively enforce provisions of anti-rights Initiative 1639, which passed by slightly less than 60 percent last month, and this time around its not a sheriff or police chief, but the prosecuting attorney of Lewis County.
Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer, during a nearly eight-minute interview on KIRO Radio, told host Gee Scott, The problem with the way 1639 is written is that its almost an unenforceable law.

Gov. Pete Ricketts said Monday he would be open to the possibility of enacting a so-called "stand your ground" law that would broaden the legal right to self-defense in Nebraska. Stand-your-ground laws, supported by the National Rifle Association, generally establish the right of citizens to use force, including lethal force, to protect themselves from threats or perceived threats without making any effort to retreat from a confrontation.

Miley Cyrus is no stranger to statement pieces in her wardrobe, and on Monday (Dec. 10) she wore a simple shirt that sent a clear message: "protect kids, not guns." The 26-year-old singer rocked loose-fitting plaid pants and a matching jacket, complete with an oversize fuzzy hat. With an eye-catching outfit like this, the singer opted for a more simple shirt that tied everything together by sending an equally attention-grabbing message.

Like a lot of dads, Fred Guttenberg loved to take his kids camping. Also like a lot of dads, he geared up for his trips with a visit to Dicks Sporting Goods. Thats where he bought the family tent, the air mattresses, and the camp-stove fuel. With his son, Jesse, and his daughter, Jaime, Guttenberg camped at parks all over the state of Florida. Those are memories, with both of my kids, that Ill always cherish, Guttenberg says. Theyre all Ive got now.

When Elmer Keith, with big Bill Jordan at his side, went looking for Smith & Wessons decision-makers at an NRA convention in the early 1960s, he was a man with a mission. These two legendary handgunners had decided that the nations peace officers needed a more-effective handgun. They took the concept to Smith & Wesson, where it was cautiously received. A medium-caliber, medium-size version (something close to the K-frame) of the standard Hand Ejector revolver didnt seem to be that much to ask.

What kind of dog do you have? Its a simple enough question, really. While it is very difficult to survey every household in America, there are estimates from groups like the ASPCA that 44 percent of all American households have at least one dog, and there are 78 million dogs owned in this country. Basically, seven out of every 10 households have pets. And, unlike cats, dogs are often owned for hunting as well as for companionship.

Even professional shooters use visualization to help plan their progress through a course of fire in a match. The same process can be used to your benefit for armed self-defense. If I suggested to you we can use visualization and imagination to enhance our personal-defense abilities, your first thought might be that Im going for New Age stuff in my advancing years. However, Ill bet that theres not a fan of Western-style movies out there who hasnt imagined sitting astride a big sorrel gelding in some green mountain meadow with a big-ring Winchester in-hand, screaming Fill your hand, you son-of-a

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
The supposed quietude of a good mans allures the ruffian; while on the other hand, arms like laws discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. The same balance would be preserved were all the world destitute of arms, for all would be alike; but since some will not, others dare not lay them aside...Horrid mischief would ensue were one half the world deprived of the use of them... Thomas Paine, I Writings of Thomas Paine at 56 (1894). |
