"Dear Tom,"
"I've read your anti-firearm sermons for some years now, wherein you faithfully regurgitate the Brady Bunch's advocacy of citizen disarmament. Because of this, I understand the futility of arguing the point with you."
"But since we have now passed through the looking glass with an anti-firearm president and a supportive absolute majority in Congress, where the old political verities no longer apply and you no longer have the NRA and GOP to protect you, let me explain the new rules of the game. As you say, 'the NRA is losing its power.' This should worry you." ... |

"Pull yourselves out of your comfortable paradigm as a Devout Gun Rights Activist and ponder this:"

"With a single week left until Christmas, a lot of us are still scrambling to find a gift for that person who already has everything. Chances are, the person who already has everything has an interest in keeping their stuff safe, and one way to do that is give that special someone in your life a firearm."
"A lot of Christmas gifts end up as bothersome clutter, such as goofy trinkets or unread books. A gift certificate is a good sign that you dont know much about the person, but arent quite thoughtless enough to just send cash. Then, as the 30-second spot went on, and it showed various "heroes" (cops and other enforcers of state commands), I realized that ABC did really plan to run a show about Homeland Security. I fully expect the show to be a shill for the feds.
