Now that the shoe is on the other foot, many liberals all over America have suddenly become extremely interested in prepping.

Fearing that a Trump presidency could rapidly evolve into a Trumpocalypse, a significant number of leftists are now stockpiling food, guns and emergency supplies. In fact, even though many had expected a sharp drop in gun sales following Trumps victory, what actually happened is that fear of what is coming under Trump pushed background checks for gun sales to an all-time record high on Black Friday. The election of Donald Trump has awakened the left to a degree that we havent seen in decades, and some on the left are embracing hardcore survivalism without any apologies.

A Delaware judge has sided with state environmental officials in a lawsuit challenging a ban on non-hunting firearms in state parks and forests.

Members of the Bridgeville Rifle & Pistol Club and the Delaware State Sportsmen's Association who have concealed-carry permits challenged the ban in a Chancery Court lawsuit last year, saying it violates their constitutional right to carry firearms.

The lawsuit was refiled in Superior Court earlier this year after the Chancery Court dismissed it for lack of jurisdiction.

On Friday, a Superior Court judge ruled in favor of the state, saying the regulations do not violate Delaware's Constitution.

The city of Tucson is asking the Arizona Supreme Court to throw out a lawsuit filed by Attorney General Mark Brnovich over the city's policy to destroy confiscated guns.

The 30-page motion filed Thursday night suggests the legal mechanism that brought the complaint to the state's highest court SB 1487 is unconstitutional and therefore, unenforceable. The state is threatening to pull shared revenue from the city unless Tucson stops destroying seized guns.

Tucson receives $115 million a year in state-shared revenue.

Additionally, city officials argue the gun destruction policy which applies to handguns and semi-automatic firearms is a protected action as Tucson is a charter city.

An audit from Bearing Arms claiming to debunk the school shooting data compiled by the Everytown Gun Safety Support Fund is currently circulating around the Internet. Since active shooter incidents are such a hot topic for CS readers, I figured Id review the publications findings to see if there were something more I could learn about shootings on K-12 and college campuses. After closely reviewing the article, however, I found it to be very misleading.

Granted, this depends on the law of your state and the disposition of local police and prosecuting attorneys, as some are more forgiving than others. There may be laws that allow more leeway in the case of defense of mere property. Texas, for instance, has a provision at law for applying deadly force in defense of property, though it is in limited circumstances.

The students who attend classes at our UW System may be old enough to serve in our nations military, and those who would choose to carry a self-defense weapon must provide proof of training to acquire their CCW permit, but I now feel much better knowing that when the students and faculty of UW-Madison become the next target of an ISIS-inspired madman, the killer will not be harmed (or stopped) by an armed and otherwise law-abiding citizen. That is, unless he is beaten to death by the few lucky survivors who are still able to swing the plastic dildos provided to them by the liberal community activists who seem to be setting public policy on our campuses.

Miss Sloane was supposed to be an effective gun hater propaganda masterpiece. It should have been considering the money spent on it.

The production budget for Miss Sloane is reported at 18 million, with one of the top advertising budgets for movies, ever, of 15.9 million. Total box office, so far is just short of 3.2 million. It seems likely to be a major loser. Prospects for video sales look dim.

Bringing a gun into an airport checkpoint is a really big mistake, but as more people carry more frequently, such mistakes are bound to happen.

The Transportation Security Administration is reporting that the number of guns discovered at security checkpoints at our nations airports has been steadily growing in recent years.

TSA says they confiscated 2,653 guns from airline passengers in 2015, and are on track to break that record this year. They have been averaging a little more than seven guns a day at airport security checkpoints nationwide.

Mark this important date on your calendar. If you need to reserve a vacation day before the end of the year DO IT NOW!

Because several pro-Second Amendment legislators lost in the recent statewide election, we will have an uphill battle when the General Assembly returns to Springfield for the new session in 2017.

Anti-rights legislators will be more determined than ever to disarm law-abiding citizens.

Davison County residents have purchased or renewed more concealed carry permits in 2016 than in any other year.

Through Dec. 21, the Davison County Sheriffs Office recorded 643 people who purchased or renewed a concealed carry permit, which allows someone to carry a pistol where it is not visible to others. Most people in South Dakota over 18, excluding those convicted of certain criminal offenses, may carry a pistol if it is not concealed.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
To have no proud monarch driving over me with his gilt coaches; nor his host of excise-men and tax-gatherers insulting and robbing me; but to be my own master, my own prince and sovereign, gloriously preserving my national dignity, and pursuing my true happiness; planting my vineyards, and eating their luscious fruits; and sowing my fields, and reaping the golden grain: and seeing millions of brothers all around me, equally free and happy as myself. This, sir, is what I long for. -- General Francis Marion, American War of Independence, Georgetown, SC [Source: 'Marion, The Life of Gen. Francis Marion' by M. L. Weems, Ch.18]
