"Don't dance on our grave until you dig it." -- Mike Vanderboegh
Well, folks, I slapped some more gun grabbers who are making their naked desire desire for your liberty and property perfectly clear -- over at Buzz-Flash they're fairly slobbering. . . Note how they interpret the much-vaunted Heller decision, and especially in the counterpunch to my response how "Willy" uses one of Jeff Knox's replies to me . . . to indicate how we may be ignored and, of course, subsequently attacked. (Funny thing, Willy mistakenly attributes Jeff's words to his father Neal, thus indicating that he is at least old enough to know the difference. Is Willy a "progressive-pragmatist"? I'll leave you to judge.)

Blogger Mark Nickolas tries attacking the NRA for stating Obama is antigun: " ... During this Christmas season, the NRA has launched a phone banking fundraising effort, using robo calls attacks on President-elect Obama as their hook, arguing that Obama has a scheme to ban guns." An obvious lie to anyone who knows Obamas clearly stated position ..." Ok, Mark, heres a partial list off the top of my head of the flaming antigunners Obama has nominated for positions in his administration: White House Chief of Staff - Rahm Emanuel, ATF - Eric Holder, Secretary of State - Hillary Clinton, Secretary of Health and Human Services - Tom Daschle |

"I had a letter to the editor published in today's Inquirer. I responded to a letter arguing fallaciously that second amendment rights are limited to militia service. Here's my letter:"..."Consider this: 'A well-educated workforce being necessary to the prosperity of a free state, the right of the people to keep and read books shall not be infringed.' Would this limit book ownership only to those who are employed or only to the context of employment? Clearly not. As Justice Scalia put it in the Heller decision, the militia clause announces the purpose of the amendment without limiting the scope of the right." This hilarious fake prototype of a gun with an old-school Nokia phone built into the handle is what StrategyPage.com calls "The First and Second Amendment Combined."
I don't even own A gun (let alone many guns, which would necessitate an entire rack) but if I did, I'd want some sort of cell phone built into it preferably a smart phone. Otherwise, it's like, how many things do I have to carry around in my pockets all the time? I've got my keys, my phone, my gat something's gotta give. We can't all be famous athletes wearing baggy sweatpants, shooting ourselves in the leg inside a crowded nightclub. -------

The suspects ran, but one was later caught. That suspect was wounded, but did not realize it until police caught him.
The suspect's injuries were not life-threatening.
The mugging victim was not injured. -------

Good for Plaxico. Football fans might recall that Washington Redskin Shawn Taylor was murdered in his home last year by an armed invader who was obviously preying on a wealthy celebrity athlete. Had Shawn Taylor protected himself and his family with firearms he'd be alive today and the human trash that shot him would be dead.
What an atrocity that the government has publicized the fact that they have totally disarmed Plaxico Burress, leaving him and his family as sitting ducks for criminals looking to loot another wealthy celebrity. |

"Despite Mayor Bloomberg's political grandstanding and calls for him to get the maximum sentence ... and a publicity-conscious District Attorney looking to set him up as the poster-boy for illegal hand gun possession in hopes of warding off others who would conceal an illegal weapon, the most important argument Plaxico Burress' attorney must make in his defense is that his client was carrying the gun for self-defense, and believed he was at risk of serious injury or death, the very real dangers a star professional athlete faces every day on the streets of New York, according to Steve Brill, a prominent New York criminal and illegal hand gun possession defense attorney." ... |
