Designed by an American, made in America, and created for the United States Armed Forces nothing encompasses the American spirit of ammunition like the .45 Auto caliber and the gun it was made for. Known as the .45 ACP, this cartridge is the all-American bullet. And over 100 years after its debut, its still used by both law enforcement and civilians, and remains a favorite across the U.S |

Various banks, credit card companies and shippers have recently implemented policies that will unnecessarily, and unjustly, restrict the Constitutionally recognized Second Amendment rights of gun owners. Such actions serve as a troubling forecast of a contentious future as it pertains to all Americans ability to protect themselves and their families. NRA has been leading the charge against such anti-gun infringements since its early years. And largely thanks to those efforts, our country still enjoys the freedom-preserving and life-saving benefits of the uniquely American way of life.

Crime happens anywhere and anytime. It was just before midnight Saturday when a man in his pickup truck was returning home with his two-year-old. He was almost home when he saw a woman walking on the side of the road. It was quite dark and cold on this rural road. The driver in his pickup truck stopped and offered the 49-year-old woman a ride. This is an uneventful good samaritan story so far.

Like its exposed-hammer predecessor, the Model 1897, the Winchester Model 12 transitioned from peacetime popularity to wartime warrior and back again. The Model 12s journey from battlefields to hunting fields and trap and skeet ranges spanned more than 50 years. From its introduction in August 1912 until it was eventually discontinued in May 1964a victim of escalating manufacturing costs (and not counting periodic limited editions offered until Winchesters New Haven factory closed in 2006)more than 2 million Model 12s were produced in various grades and barrel lengths ranging from 20" to 30". Special-order guns could be had with lengths up to 32". |

A Clinton Township firearms dealer was charged Tuesday by a federal grand jury with illegally importing Glock conversion devices from Russia and other crimes, according to the U.S. Attorneys Office in Detroit.
Chase Farmer, 23, of St. Clair Shores, was named in the indictment, said U.S. Attorney Dawn Ison. He is the owner of Shall Not Be Infringed, LLC in the 14 Mile Road and Harper Avenue area, records show.
Federal prosecutors said although Farmer was licensed by the federal government to deal in firearms, he was not licensed to import the weapons.
According to court records, Farmer illegally imported Glock conversion devices and drop-in auto sears using a Russian website from November 2020 to March 2021.

Teaching is a skill. Not everyone is a teacher, that is why we, as a society, have so much respect and admiration for those we trust our children with eight or more hours a day in the classroom. Firearms instructors are no different. Just like in any profession, there are good teachers and there are bad ones.

I have lived since the age of 2 with the damage inflicted by a gun death. My father was killed while serving in the U.S. military in late 1945 by another soldier test firing his souvenir Luger in a barracks. I can still feel the powerful reverberations of that shot. It immediately threw the life of what remained of my family onto a much more difficult trajectory less upwardly mobile, much less happy than it had been on before.

In this short video, we take a look at three different used firearms that I found in the warehouse. There are no real criteria for this series, we just pull ones that we find unique, strange, or cool for one reason or another. For the picks this month I chose an LWRCI M6, a Beretta CX4 Storm, and a Browning Auto 5 shotgun. |

Coming over a century after the company ceased production of its last semi-auto handgun, Savage certainly wasnt in a rush to beat Father Time with the 2022 release of its new pistol the Stance. Ive actually had the pleasure of shooting both Savages very old and very new handguns recently, and I can say they share very little in common. But the real question is how the brand-new Stance pistol fits into the modern handgun market. Lets take a look.

In the land of the rimfire rifle cartridge, the 22 long rifle with its 40-grain bullet remains the most popular round for plinking and light pest control.
However, sometimes a .22LR simply isnt powerful enough to take on larger varmints, like coyotes, and lacks the muzzle velocity to take down prairie dogs at longer ranges. |
