A 21-year-old homeowner, mugged as he walked into his Flags West apartment Saturday night, managed to grab a pistol and shoot one of the men who'd robbed and pistol-whipped him.

The apartment resident managed to grab a gun he owned and shot at the robbers, striking one of them... The three thieves fled, but one died of gunshot wounds in the hallway outside the apartment.

The grand jury, which met from September until last month, is asking students to answer, "What is the best way to get rid of guns in Baltimore City?"
Children from elementary, middle and high schools are being asked to enter. A $75 savings bond will be given to one winner from each school level at an award ceremony next month.

Both state and Montgomery County lawmakers are now gunning for Krasner's company, Silverado Promotions. Pushed by gun-control advocacy groups like the Million Mom March, proponents hope to prevent gun shows on properties that are either government-owned or that receive government funding.

"Also nearby are several other restaurants and nightclubs...The new Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is scheduled to open this spring." --Gee that was important to include in this tragic article.
