It is probably the most instantly recognizable pocket auto in the world and certainly one of the better guns of the type. The fact that it has proliferated in use all over the world and has been in almost continuous production since 1929 says a lot about the Walther PP pistol and its descendants, the PPK and PPK/s. Theyre still made, but if you want a brand new example of this legendary design, it will bear an incongruous, but still familiar, name on the slide: Smith & Wesson. Twists and turns in American laws have created a situation where German-made Walther PPK pistols cannot be imported into the United States.

Theres something deliciously nostalgic about lever-action rifles. They have an aura and mystique about them, especially when you use one as a hunting rifle. Its as though youve been transported back to another time, a simpler time when the big game freely roamed the forests and Great Plains of North America. |

Some of us planned and prepared ahead of time and some of us ignored our childrens safety for another day. What is worse is that some unprepared adults will blame the next mass murder at school on the citizens who took steps to protect their children from harm. Fortunately, we know how to stop mass murder in our schools.
That wasnt always true. Defending our children at school was both a discovery and an invention. This is what we learned. |

Times are tough for Michael Bloombergs well-paid propagandists at Everytown for Gun Safety. They rant and rave about the evils of gun ownership but no one is listening. More than five million people recently ignored their palaver and purchased their first firearm including a large percentage of women and African Americans. Most Americans, this shows, have tuned the Everytowners completely out.

The Seattle Times editorial board has once again aroused the ire of at least part of the readership by essentially demanding the state legislature pass Senate Bill 5078, which will limit magazine capacity to 10 cartridges, a proposition Liberty Park Press examined only a couple of days ago.
Firearms experts have concluded such a restriction will accomplish nothing more than create a false sense of security and accomplishment, without preventing a single mass shooting or saving even one life.

Congressman Daniel Webster has introduced a bill to close a loophole in the National Firearms Act. The Republican who represents The Villages in the U.S. House of Representatives has joined U.S. Rep. Chip Roy of Texas in introducing the No Backdoor Gun Control Act. This legislation would remove Any Other Weapon (AOW) from the definition of a firearm under the National Firearms Act (NFA), ensuring that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) could not use the AOW section to violate Americans Second Amendment rights.

If there's one principle that all factions of America's leftist spectrum support, it's that guns are bad. The only way to keep society safe, they all say, is for the government to seize everyone's guns. However, Occupy Democrats, which is siding with Ukraine as Russia attacks it, has a newfound enthusiasm for the Second Amendment. It put out a series of tweets celebrating these weapons of war in civilian hands. |

In an effort to tackle gun violence and strengthen public safety, the state Senate passed legislation SB5078, Feb. 9 that bans the sale of high-capacity magazines anything over 10 rounds but doesnt prohibit the use of high-capacity firearms already in possession. High-capacity magazines make it easy for shooters to inflict maximum damage by allowing more shots to be fired without needing to pause to reload. Because of this we see these accessories favored by mass shooters, said Sen. Marko Liias (D-Everett), prime sponsor of the legislation.
