The 380 ACP is the smallest caliber pistol Id be comfortable concealed carrying for self-defense. However, the 32 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) has a devout following in the CCW community who prefer to carry incredibly small, lightweight picket pistols for deep concealment or as a backup gun. |

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) echoed President Joe Bidens State of the Union (SOTU) gun control push by calling for national passage of the same laws that have been failing to stop high profile shootings in California for more than 30 years.
Breitbart News reported that during the SOTU, Biden demanded an assault weapons ban and universal background checks. California has had an assault weapons ban since 1989 and universal background checks since 1991, yet the state has also been ground zero for some of the most high profile shootings the U.S. has seen. |

In an unusual Castle Doctrine case that publicly has more questions than answers and has the family of an unlikely attacker even scratching their heads and demanding answers, the Jackson County, Missouri, prosecutor has declined to file charges against a man who shot 46-year-old business owner John Bartrom, the founder of Jericho Home Improvements. Motions for Summary Judgement have been filed by both sides in Knife Rights federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality under the Second Amendment of Californias complete ban on common automatic knives 2 inches and greater that the State prohibits as illegal switchblades.
The Plaintiffs motion sets out the indisputable facts under the standard laid out by the U.S. Supreme Court in New York State Rifle & Pistol Assn v. Bruen. These facts include those confirmed by Californias own experts during deposition. |

With Super Tuesday in the rearview mirror and Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley dropping out of the race, it appears that the election day slate is set with President Joe Biden (D) facing former President Donald Trump (R). While theres still plenty of time between now and Nov. 5, it seems like a good time to compare the two candidates record on gun ownership and the Second Amendment. |

Today, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) announced that the District Court for the Southern District of California has struck down the states ban on purchasing more than one handgun or semiautomatic, centerfire rifle in a 30-day period. The Opinion in Nguyen v. Bonta can be viewed at FPCLegal.org.
Defendants have not met their burden of producing a well-established and representative historical analogue to the [one-gun-a-month] law, reads the Courts Opinion. The Court therefore concludes that Plaintiffs are entitled to summary judgment as to the constitutionality of the [one-gun-a-month] law under the Second Amendment. |

The U.S. House of Representatives Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government asked pointed questions to several Biden administration officials to get answers to why the federal government is working against the American people instead of for them.
The Hearing on the Weaponization of the Federal Government delved into questions of why the federal government spied, and lied, about the lawful purchases by Americans by the U.S. Treasury Departments Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). |

The United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Bianchi v. Brown issued an important order that is likely to backfire on the anti-gunners. The court directed the parties to submit supplemental briefing addressing the following two questions:
(1) does the determination of whether a weapon is in common use occur at the first or second step of Bruens text-and-history methodology, and (2) who bears the burden of establishing that a weapon is in common use. Heller and Bruen provide explicit answers to the questions posed by the Fourth Circuit, and those answers favor the protection of our Second Amendment rights. |
