Earlier this week, the New Mexico Senate passed Senate Bill 32, a measure to ban the use of traps or snares on public lands, on a 26-13 vote. The measure does exempt hunting with firearms and archery equipment, but many sportsmen and agricultural partners that are Second Amendment supporters are concerned about eliminating a traditional wildlife management tool, especially after the New Mexico Game Commission adopted and implemented new trapping regulations just a little over a year ago. These new regulations include mandatory education for anyone purchasing a trapping license and new setbacks, requiring a half-mile distance from designated trailheads, roadside rest areas, picnic areas, and public campgrounds or boat launches. |

Two proposed bills that enable younger Wyomingites to hunt, including those with terminal illnesses, have the support of the Wyoming Wildlife Federation (WWF). House Bill 115 (HB115) would allow 11-year-olds to hunt if they turn 12 within the calendar year. House Bill 84 (HB84), the Naomi Hunting Age Exemption Act, would allow the states Game and Fish Commission to waive the age restriction for children who are suffering from a terminal illness. The House Travel Committee has recommended both bills pass. |

Lawmakers in Delaware have reintroduced legislation to outlaw homemade "ghost guns" that can't be traced by law enforcement agents because they don't have serial numbers or are fashioned from parts created with 3D printers. The measure introduced last week is similar to a bill that failed to get a floor vote last year. The legislation is supported by Gov. John Carney, who first proposed such a law in 2019. |

If you look at a picture of a car and it has tail fins, you know it was from the 1950s. If you look at a picture of home interiors and theyre full of shag carpet and avocado-hued appliances, you know theyre from the 1970s. Nowadays, if you look at a photo of a pistol and it looks like the slide lost a fight with a CNC machine, you know its from the end of the Twenty-Teens.

Some of my friends are democrats. Many are gun owners. They call themselves pro-gun Democrats. Im struggling to figure out what that means. So far, democrat politicians are keeping their promise to disarm honest gun owners.
This is the firearms prohibition that democrats across the country voted for. Unfortunately, this is only the beginning. There are many more gun-control bills to come. |

Sighting in a handgun is pretty straightforward, but it can be a bit intimidating for new gun owners. Additionally, it's an essential step for any gun that will be used as a self-defense weapon, concealed-carry EDC, or home-defense gun. |
