A rational gun safety bill is moving forward in the Arizona legislature. The bill would repeal the requirement for armed Arizonans to unload, then reload, their firearms every time they drive onto school grounds to pick up their child.

Gun control proponents argue that America could learn something from the horrendous attack on two New Zealand mosques.
They are hoping that our citizens, gripped by emotion, will overlook the obvious and agree that law-abiding gun owners should face additional restrictions on their rights.
The real lesson to be learned from the Christchurch massacre is that madmen arent deterred by gun control laws, or laws against murder. Morality doesnt enter into their thinking, so honest people must be prepared for the unthinkable and be able to respond. |

The vast majority of gun owners are also responsible citizens. That means most of you work for a living. You care for families. You care for your home. And, you take an active part in some phase of your community. Your time is one of the most-valuable things that you have, therefore it is important you budget it wisely. It is not only important to budget time for your defensive-shooting practice, but it is critical the practice in which you engage is the kind of practice that meets your needs. |

Area lawmakers have objected to legislation passed earlier this month requiring gun owners to keep firearms in a locked cabinet or equipped with a trigger-locking device under certain circumstances. Not only is todays firearm storage legislation irresponsible, but it is also impractical and unnecessary, said State Sen. Rob Ortt, R-North Tonawanda, in a statement. The passage of this legislation further highlights the utter disdain New York City regressives hold against the legal gun owners of our state and illustrates their ignorance regarding Second Amendment protections.

Prior to 1968, most adults in the United States could purchase a firearm without state interference. Guns were available in local retail stores, as well as mail-order catalogs, and as long as you hadnt been convicted of a felony and you had the funds, there werent any questions asked. Things are different now. Depending on where in America you are and what type of gun you want to buy, theres a good chance youll need to pass a NICS-mandated background check to complete your purchase. |

Maj Toure of Black Guns Matter will be joined by three other conservative urban millennials in Brooklyn on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019, to discuss the rise of black radical conservatism in Urban America. The event will be called Resurrection: Breaking Bread with The Gods. Toure is a well-known Second Amendment advocate who concentrates on the urban community. He recently spoke at CPAC about the demonization of the Second Amendment in the inner-city community by the liberals and the need to reach out to members of the community to show them that guns are not the evil tools that the left claims.

The New Hampshire House approved several bills Tuesday aimed at tightening the rules on gun purchases in the state, a dramatic shift in a state known to have some of the least restrictive laws in the country. Supporters in the Democratically-controlled body voted 199-147 in favor of a bill that would mandate a seven-day waiting period on gun sales. The House also approved a bill 203-148 that requires criminal background checks on commercial sales and a seven-day waiting period for gun purchases..

Wow. Where to begin on this one? We all know the MSNBCs sole purpose in life is to ensure the out-of-touch liberal that theyre okay; that their garbage opinions are mainstream. Its meant to keep liberal blood pressures at healthy levels. So, in the wake of the horrific shootings in New Zealand that targeted Muslims, the AR-15 is once again coming under fire from anti-gunners. Thats what the shooter used to murder some 50 Muslims reportedly at separate mosques in the city of Christchurch. |

"Hear how his bark has got short? He's got him treed!" We are deep in the woods on the side of a rocky ridge in far western Loudoun County, Virginia. It is dark and muddy, and the only sound is the faraway yelping of a coonhound named Storm. About 30 minutes ago, just after sundown, Glenn Cogle let the 4-year-old hound off his leash and watched as Storm disappeared into the bramble. Twice, the hound circled back to us with a dejected look when the trail went cold. "Go on, go get him!" Cogle said, and the dog bolted.

Since my youth, Ive had a love affair with the classic side-by-side shotgun. My wife, Cherie, and I use side-by-sides almost exclusively for clay targets and hunting, including ducks and geese. Doubles are reliable, graceful, easy to carry in the field and pleasing to the eye. Of all the classic doubles, my favorite has always been the Fox shotguns made from 1904 to 1942. The company went through several owners with Savage Arms buying The Fox Gun Company in November of 1929. |
