"Sarah Johnson used to shop for basics at her local Kmart, while driving 30 minutes to Target for fashion and other nonessential items."

Note: Kmart sent hunters, gun-owners, and 2nd amendment supporters to competing retailers some time ago. Who is left that shops there?

Educational Terrorism

"From the time a child is born until he makes it through to the age of eighteen, he is a potential kidnap victim. Parents pay ransoms every year their children are in school, and the kidnappers still hold the children. They live with the constant knowledge that one little slip could cost them the loss of their children and possibly even the loss of their freedom and/or everything they own. If that is not terrorism, then I do not know what is!"

"Dewey believed that the best way to implement communism in America over the long term was to infiltrate all major areas of American life. Education would, he believed; provide the foundation since pupils could be indoctrinated into this peculiar way of thinking at a young age."

"While bank robberies overall rose 17% from 1995 to 2001, FBI statistics show that they jumped 82% over the same period in small towns and 27% in unincorporated rural areas."

"The modern robbers seem to be counting on some simple facts of life in small towns, where metal detectors, cameras and security guards are not ubiquitous and the sheriff may be clear across the county when the call comes."

KABA NOTE: But are they robbing banks where citizens can carry concealed? Or where there is a sign saying "No Concealed Weapons"?

Last story in that link. (Local Digest stories).

Interesting how a child with minimal common sense now is being forced into a year of further educational loss (a year) over the obvious failure of his parents to do their job. Schools will take your tax dollars and accept no responsibility from the results of their approach to this situation which simply is to walk away... typical heads in the sand mentality.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer basically printed the anti-gun mantra in Sunday's editorial. You can find information and a link to the editorial on our website by following the link above.

In one breath they say CCW shouldn't be permitted in "day care centers, hospitals, city hall", but in another breath they say "but it works in 44 states anyway". We can't allow the Plain Dealer to become the anti-gun mouthpiece, or all sense of non-biased "reporting" is gone.

"The material issue of fact is the fraudulent jurisdiction of the IRS and the absent, yes, MISSING, legal authority for the IRS to force employers to withhold income taxes from employee paychecks and the lack of authority for the IRS to force the People to file a tax return and to pay income taxes... the record of the Citizens' Truth-In-Taxation Hearing stands uncontested as incontrovertible proof of a government hoax and tyranny of the most pernicious form. Our nation must respond."

"When the Nazi war criminals were asked why they gassed all those Jews, the excuse the came up with is: "Ve vere just vollowing orders!" [Try saying this with a German accent.] Well, folks, in our modern era, 'law enforcement' has its own expressions for the same concept. They go something like this:..."

"We were simply following departmental policy!"

"We were only doing our jobs!"

"We were simply enforcing 'the law' as we are required by law to do!"

"Dont bother with this review - go read this book! Yes, that gives away my feelings on The State Vs. the People, but it isn't often that I think as highly of a book as I do this one. Written by Claire Wolfe and Aaron Zelman, TSVTP documents the rise of the American police state in very clear, detailed fashion, moving swiftly through eleven chapters (and six appendices)."

"Now they want to use X-ray vision on us at the airports. After they get done removing such dangerous items as ballpoint pens, fingernail clippers and tie pins they will run you through a machine that can see through your clothing. The photographic images will not go all the way to the bone, like at the doctor's office, but stop at the skin, revealing any handguns and swords that you have managed to have sewn into your stomach."

Another NYU student was raped yesterday by the same attacker who sexually brutalized a student last week. The latest victim was trying to hail a cab when she was approached by a man brandishing a silver handgun. The attacker took the woman to a deli where she was forced to withdraw money from an ATM machine. The attacker then forced the student into a basement landing where he raped her.

-- But I thought crime was "going down" in NYC, especially with all those citizen anti-gun laws.

The rate has increased to $84 since the law was enacted."

"It was a sad day when President Bush announced he would sign the just-passed campaign finance reform bill. No, I'm not talking about the bill's imminent damage to the First Amendment, as distressing as that is, but to a potentially bigger blow to the Constitution. ... the Constitution can only go so far in preserving our freedoms. If our elected officials are unwilling to honor it, they place those freedoms in jeopardy."

"If you can honestly say that you believe legislated restrictions on political speech is at the core of what our Founders wanted, by all means, sign the bill. But if you believe the proposed restrictions won't pass muster by a Supreme Court that actually believes in free speech, please, do everyone a favor by vetoing it."
