FULL TEXT BELOW:
A teenage boy was killed over the weekend during a gun fight inside a Western Heights home, according to Knoxville police.
Jamodd Mack, age 16, was killed early Saturday morning after he and another person allegedly broke into the residence at 1304 Iredell Avenue by kicking in the door.
Police say the teenager, who was carrying a gun, exchanged gunfire with a man inside the home. Mack was shot multiple times and died on the scene.
The person who was accompanying Mack fled and is being sought by police.
Officials say the investigation into the shooting is ongoing. -------

The FBI says the suspended sheriff of Okaloosa County, Fla., has been arrested in Las Vegas on federal theft, fraud, money laundering and conspiracy charges.
Special Agent Joseph Dickey in Las Vegas says FBI and Internal Revenue Service investigators arrested Charles W. Morris early Friday.
Dickey says Morris is due for an initial appearance Friday in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas.
Morris was sought on a warrant issued in U.S. District Court in Pensacola, Fla.
Florida Gov. Charlie Crist suspended Morris Friday and appointed an interim sheriff in the Florida panhandle county.
Morris was also the president of the Florida Sheriff's Association Board of Directors. |

A Prince George's County Department of Corrections officer has been arrested, authorities said.
Cpl. John Hanna of Glen Burnie was arrested Sunday in Prince William County in Virginia and charged with burglary, rape, abduction and other offenses. He is being held without bond in Manassas.
Prince George's County officials said Hanna had been on administrative leave with pay from the county corrections department since Jan. 15. His leave was due to a jail incident that is still being investigated.
Authorities said Hanna has now been suspended without pay because of the criminal charges. |

An El Paso police officer is under arrest for Aggravated Sexual Assault against a woman.
Police say they began investigating the accusation against 16-year veteral officer Javier Alonzo on Tuesday. They found probable cause and issued an arrest warrant for Alonzo, however, he fled El Paso before officers could arrest him.
According to a news release from EPPD, U.S. Marshal's nabbed Alonzo in Austin and turned him over to Austin police. He is now being escorted back to El Paso.
Authorities have not released any details on the alleged attack; however, police chief Greg Allen has ordered the termination of Alonzo. |
