Democrat President Joe Biden on Thursday nominated David Chipman, a former agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to head that agency, while also announcing what an administration fact sheet described as six initial actions on gun control.
CNN is describing this as Bidens first, limited actions on gun control, but grassroots activists and Second Amendment advocates are drawing a line in the sand. In a sharply-worded statement, the Second Amendment Foundations Alan Gottlieb warned, Our legal team will review them and we are prepared to file suit if Biden and his administration steps over their legal authority. |

The West Virginia Legislature began wrapping up work on the last day of the regular session Saturday after a climactic day Friday that resulted in the House of Delegates voting down a bill aimed at erasing the states income tax. The Legislature passed a handful of notable bills Saturday, including a $4.4 billion budget bill after debate over funding cuts to Marshall University and West Virginia University. The bill would call for a $28 million combined general revenue cut for the two institutions. State departments across the board are expected to see cuts under the plan. |

This weeks White House Report Card is another split screen of partisan approval and disapproval for new moves by President Joe Biden, notably on the budget, guns, and Iran. In the most significant event of the week, the president held a Rose Garden ceremony to announce his gun control plans, stating that his endgame was a new ban on AR-style weapons. He won applause from all anti-gun groups, but pro-Second Amendment advocates took note that the president said nothing about punishing criminals who use guns.

Five years on, shes still spitting vitriol on Americans. She still wants to punish freedom-loving Americans instead of criminals. Shes still shouting from her wandering in the woods to ban the modern sporting rifle (MSR) and shes still out of touch with Americans across the country.

Ask anyone who owns multiple handguns about their holster collection and they will lament how much they have spent over the years because they need a different one for each gun. This is largely because most holsters have either leather or Kydex forms designed for particular guns and are not interchangeable. While this makes for awesome holsters that work really well, it can also be frustrating as the collection builds. |

The open tip match bullet (OTM) is primarily used as a target shooting ammo, hence the word match but what is match ammo? There seems to be a massive debate about this particular term (OTM), because it comes across as a hollow point when it's technically not, and it can cause some confusion. The military can use it because its technically not a hollow point, but some hunters cant because it is a hollow point. This is probably the most controversial term of any bullet currently in use today. |

The very day that the Biden-Harris Administration moved to establish a rule reclassifying millions of braced pistols under the NFA, a Democrat lawmaker introduced a bill to bump their costs. On April 8, U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., announced two new gun control proposals, H.R. 2426 and H.R. 2427. The former deals with making it illegal to give a firearm to someone who has had their state license to possess or purchase firearms revoked. The latter is termed the National Firearms Act Modernization Act and aims to increase the tax rates on NFA-regulated items such as machine guns, short-barreled rifles and shotguns, and suppressors.

As Katie and Matt have covered, President Joe Biden's executive orders on guns have arrived, one of them to do with red flag laws. According to the White House, "The Justice Department, within 60 days, will publish model red flag legislation for states." Katie has referred to how red flag laws "often violate civil liberties." Specifically, there's "due process" concerns, as Thomas Bingham, a gun rights activist who formerly worked for the NRA, shared with Townhall.
