Most turkey hunters know that scouting is important, but many hunters (even experienced ones) don�t really know how to scout for turkeys. Sure, most folks can find turkey tracks, spot longbeards strutting in a field, and hear gobbles from a distant ridge, but the key to effective turkey scouting is to use this intel to develop a plan that helps you go out and kill a turkey�not just figure out where they live.

Once again during his remarks about the newest attempt to restrict gun rights, President Joe Biden repeated his already-discredited claim that the Second Amendment historically prevented certain people from buying guns or owning cannons, leaving the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms to encourage Americans to question anything Biden says. |

Today, Governor Brian Kemp signed Senate Bill 319, constitutional carry, into law. Georgia is now the 25th constitutional carry state, and the fourth to join that group in 2022. Half of the country now recognizes the right of a law-abiding adult who is legally allowed to carry a concealed firearm, to do so without first having to obtain government permission. This ensures that citizens have the right to self-defense without government red tape or delays. Constitutional carry goes into effect immediately. |

Last night, the Maryland General Assembly adjourned sine die from its 2022 legislative session. During this session, they continued Maryland�s attacks on Second Amendment rights by passing two more anti-gun bills. Senate Bill 387, to ban Marylanders from manufacturing their own firearms for personal use, became law without Governor Larry Hogan�s signature. Gov. Hogan vetoed House Bill 1021, to impose unreasonable burdens on gun stores and drive them out of business, but the General Assembly then overrode the veto.ning. |
