"Maybe it will come to that one day. How much longer will we tolerate an illegal tax system supported by a corrupt judiciary and enforced by a foreign agency, especially when the elected officials who serve us do not even deign to answer our simplest questions? This April 15, it is time to remember that we are the descendants of honest men who did not fear to revolt after having one wrongful tax too many rammed down their unwilling throats." |

"THE LEGAL ASSAULT AGAINST THE FIREARMS INDUSTRY led by the gun ban lobby has been going on since 1998. Although the industry has been winning the battles, the costly war grinds on. Last October I wrote a FrontPageMagazine.com article titled, "The Wastefulness of the War on Guns," in which I noted, "of 30 suits brought against the industry, 18 have been decided at one level or another, and 17 have been fully or partially dismissed in favor of firearms manufacturers." |

Bill proposed in Congress: "To require firearms and ammunition purchases to be made in person and to require records to be kept of the means by which the purchases are made."
This proposal would ban the sale of guns and ammo through the mail. You would have to make all purchases face-to-face with a licensed gun dealer, which of course will drive up the cost of your purchase. Mail-order ammo companies would be put out of business.

This proposal in Congress would require a permit to purchase "explosives", with a NICS background check for each purchase, just like buying a gun. And the definition of "explosives" (U.S. Code, Title 18, Section 841) includes includes black powder, pellet powder and primers. Thus, all ammo reloaders and black powder shooters would be required to obtain a permit to buy their gunpowder and primer supplies, and be subjected to background checks each time they make a purchase.

A Mayor Daley-style gun ban died a horrible death at the hands of 500 American Patriots Monday night. Only one supported the gun ban. 499 women and men voiced the patriotic song of freedom.
Des Plaines City council Bob Smith (Daley errand boy) was told bluntly by citizens within his ward he was a disgrace to leadership. Citizens told councilmen Smith to enjoy his remaining term, as it would be the last.
Des Plaines entire city council defeated the gun ban by a vote 7-1. |

"Society has no problem with law enforcement fighting crime or even confiscating property used in a criminal enterprise but, as with any law, the good intent for which the law was created, has been immensely abused to the point that innocent citizens are losing everything they ever worked for without even being charged or convicted of a crime. Clearly, states need to pass laws to safeguard the rights of the innocent from zealot law enforcement agencies run amuck from the smell of greed." |

This Bill in Congress would increase gun dealer inspections by the BATF from one per year to three. The penalty for selling firearms illegally would be increased to 10 years in prison, even for just record-keeping offenses. The fine for failing to have trigger locks available for sale would increase to $10,000. He calls certain lawful gun dealers "deadbeats" and "kingpins" just because the high volume of their sales results in 10 or more of their guns being later traced to crimes.
