With the explosion of online video game streaming services like Twitch in the last few years, more and more companies are using the platform to reach audiences normally out of their target demographic or purview. But with the incredible reach of these streaming sights, some political candidates have even utilized them to reach voters. So it makes perfect sense that pro-Second Amendment organizations should do the same, and reach younger audiences. The latest is a group called 2AGaming. Sponsored by Rainier Arms, a reseller and manufacturer of firearms and accessories out of Oregon, 2A gaming is an outreach program designed to introduce younger people to firearms.

When I step in front of audiences to speak, I always take a moment to look out through the lights at yet another diverse crowd of NRA members. I glance at individual faces and see men and women, youngsters and veterans, people of every ethnicity and from all occupations. The makeup of these audiences certainly changes depending on where I am in this great country; after all, this America is itself a patchwork of peoples all sewn together with the strong words of the U.S. Constitution. |

David Chipman was once a respected special agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. That was before he decided to peddle gun control. Now, hes reduced to name calling and holding his breath until he turns blue. Its all because Americas ignoring his Chicken Little the sky is falling admonitions of those who dare to not believe the gun control ideas hes selling. |

Nickel-plated lead shot is different from your typical lead shot in that the coating allows the shot to leave your barrel a bit smoother, gives more penetration, and can lead to easier kills when hunting pheasants and waterfowl. While this shot is more expensive than your average lead, there are definitely some benefits that make it worth the price. The main issue is the hardness of the lead inside. A good manufacturer will use a good quality lead shot and coat it with nickel. Others use a softer lead which loses predictability, but can still have some advantages, such as less risk of lead contamination.

In order for the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms to remain meaningful, law-abiding citizens must have the ability to acquire a firearm even during a pandemic. In fact, the right to self-defense is especially vital during national emergencies, when police forces may have additional responsibilities or limitations that make it harder for them to respond to every call for help. |

A state with one of the worst Red Flag gun confiscation laws on the books just got worse. On April 13, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra issued a guidance document on the procedures concerning certain types of restraining orders. Citing the ongoing COVID-19 panic, Becerra noted that all ex parte Gun Violence Restraining Orders (EGVROs) are to be extended 90 days past the statutory expiration date. Under state law, such orders expire after 21 days meaning that an ex parte GVRO may now last up to 110 days. Californias latest attack on gun rights and due process should serve as a warning to gun owners across the country about the dangers inherent to Red Flag gun confiscation laws.

John Mahlon Marlin worked for Colt during the Civil War, but in 1863, he struck out on his own and officially established Marlin Firearms in 1870. The North Haven, CN, factory wasnt complete at the time, and gun manufacturing began there in 1872. The companys early focus was single-shot firearms, but in 1881, the first lever action bearing the "Marlin Fire Arms Company" stamp was produced. The firm also manufactured a few revolvers, but in 1889, it forever altered the lever-action landscape when it came out with a side-ejecting modelthe first ever.
