The Williams Machine Gun Mafia like the kind of guns you can run hard without having any issues. The boss, Andy Williams, tells us which of his guns he prefers. Williams, a Class 3 dealer from Maine, is a regular attendee at the Green Mountain Boys Machine Gun Shoot in Eden, Vermont. I caught up with him in 2014. He showed up, as usual, with his crew that consisted of his son and a few close family friends. In tow was a small arsenal of select-fire weapons and a lot of ammo.

The truncated cone solid bullet (TCSB) can easily be identified because it looks like a solid cone of metal at the tip, with a flat nose at the end of the cone shape.
These bullets are prolific in smaller caliber, especially .22 LR, and see a lot of use at ranges or for backyard plinking and varmint control. The solid versions of the TC bullet are just as the name implies theres no hollow point or cavities within. Its typically going to be available in solid lead, though there are some manufacturers out there that make a TCSB with copper. The jacket can vary between full metal jacket and semi-jacketed. |

You might notice we have touched on resolutions recently. While they do not have the force of law, they can be a very potent way of shifting public perception and with that shift in public perception comes a shift in votes, in the legislatures at the state level, in Congress, and at the polls on Election Day. One particularly dangerous resolution is H Res 702, introduced by Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-MA). Pressley, one of the members of The Squad that gets so much airplay from the mainstream media, has made a serious propaganda play aimed right at our Second Amendment rights with this resolution. |

Golden State gun owners won what appears to be Round 1 in their legal battle against what they believe is an onerous background check requirement for ammunition purchases, thanks to a ruling by U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez in San Diego that declared the requirement violates the U.S. Constitutions Second Amendment.
Attorney Chuck Michel told Liberty Park Press via email he would not be surprised if the State of California quickly asks the court to stay the ruling pending appeal. His prediction was spot-on, as the state has requested a stay, same as it did last year when Judge Benitez declared Californias ban on so-called high capacity magazines is also unconstitutional. His ruling may be read here. |

Today, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) and Firearms Policy Foundation (FPF) announced the filing of an important legal brief in the Vermont Supreme Court regarding the State of Vermonts ban on so-called large-capacity magazines. The brief, joined by the Cato Institute and Independence Institute, argues that Vermonts history and tradition proves that so-called large capacity magazines are protected by the Vermont Constitution, and that banning such magazines makes bad policy because they are common and effective arms for defense of self and others. The FPC brief is available online at FPCLegal.org. |

The Stoeger Coach Gun was the top choice for enthusiasts looking for a side-by-side shotgun in 2019, according to volume of purchases made through the services of Gunbroker.com. Its little wonder, too, with the classic looks, rugged build and variations available. Its a regular at cowboy action matches, but there are a lot more reasons this firearm has occupied the top slot in its category for the past five years. The fact it held that position last monthat a time when new records were set for gun purchasesindicates the Coach Guns popularity isnt fading, either.

It seems that politicians and their medical advisors have lost sight of the objectives of social distancing. While they still speak in terms of flattening the curve, their actions appear to be more focused on eradicating the curve altogether. While that might be a noble goal, its not particularly realistic, and its not what we the people signed up for.

Perhaps as predictable as rain in Seattle, the aftermath of last weekends tragic shooting rampage in Nova Scotia has brought more demands for, and promises of, additional gun control measures in a nation that already has far stricter gun laws than the United States.
According to BuzzFeed, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has pledged to continue to push for stricter gun laws following the murder spree that now has a body count of 23. Authorities have discovered more victims beyond the original 18 known to have perished. Some of the dead have been recovered from the remains of burned-down structures. |

Long live the fanny pack! Words I never thought Id say. You see, Im old enough to remember when fanny packs were a thing and everyone wore them for a couple of fateful summers. The tactical gear business even hopped on board with concealed-carry versions. Unfortunately, a lot of them were introduced on the back end of the trend, so they never gained the traction they needed to succeed. And a lot of them werent very good. Which is why I think its pretty gutsy that Galco brought out the Fastrax Pac at a time when this style of carry is far from popular. But it works. And heres why.

THERE ARE some outdoor activities that require instruction or guidance, and some that can be undertaken with little experience. I believe, for example, that a person can teach himself or herself to fish. With mild determination and learning from trial and error, most fishing activities can result in individual accomplishments. When considering hunting in New Hampshire, things become a little more difficult to master by oneself.
