FULL TEXT BELOW:

There is no such thing as an "assault weapon." This term was invented by Josh Sugarman of the Violence Policy Center - a liberal, anti-gun organization - for the sole purpose of scaring the uninformed into believing that a semi-automatic rifle is the same as a machine gun.

The truth is this: The military defines an assault rifle as a rifle having select fire capability - that is, being able to switch from semi-auto to full auto. The weapons that Les Baer makes for civilians are semi-auto self-loading rifles.

Words are important. By your constant use of the words the anti-rights crowd invents and uses on this and other issues, you help their cause move forward.
