On Thursday, Duncan Scott, lawyer for Del Norte Gun Club (in New Mexico), formally proposed to the Bureau of Land Management the donation of half the shooting range's 55-acre site to Sandoval County, which wants to build a new judicial complex on the land. In exchange for the donation, the gun club is asking the BLM to give the club clear title to the rest of the land, and the nuisance lawsuit would be dropped. |

"The U.S. attorney better defeat me, because if they don't, they will be working in Yeehaw Junction," Traficant said in response to a 10-count indictment handed down Friday by a grand jury in Cleveland. "I will challenge them in court. I will represent myself."
Trafficant may be a Democrat, but he has certainly been vocal against the federal government, even going so far -- in the past -- to defy some of their moves. At this point, he'd be better to have around than McCain. |

The European Court of Human Rights said Britain violated Europe's human rights convention and awarded each of the victim's families $14,350 in damages and up to $43,000 in legal costs.
((((((Sounds like the lawyers will make three times more than the victims' families.))))))
"The people responsible should be held accountable," said Mark Thompson of Relatives for Justice. "They should be charged with murder."
(((((((Good luck))))))) |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of men and women. Thomas Paine, The Crisis, Intro. (Dec. 1776). |
