President Joe Biden was being intellectually dishonest, and the legacy media has allowed him get away with it by pushing gun control on the anniversary of the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said today.

Joe Biden told reporters it is time to close loopholes that allow gun buyers to bypass background checks, but it is well-documented that the Orlando mass killer had passed background checks when he legally purchased the rifle and pistol used in the attack, noted CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. Biden was either stupid, or intellectually dishonest with his remarks, and Im livid the establishment media omitted this key fact in its reporting.

But is there more to the story, which mentions Austin, Cleveland, Chicago and Savannah?

The Los Angeles Times editorial page is less a journalistic enterprise than it is a partisan grievance noticeboard. The editorial boards descent into trivial activist messaging was on full display in a pair of recent pieces lamenting the federal judiciarys recognition of the Second Amendment. In both, the editorial board denied the core rulings in the U.S. Supreme Courts opinions in District of Columbia v. Heller and McDonald v. Chicago that recognized the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms. In neither piece did the would-be jurists at the L.A. Times offer evidence or argument as to their incorrect position or why the legal analysis of self-important regime press agents should carry any weight whatsoever.

#7.5 lead shot is one of the most easily found shot sizes on the market and is made by a variety of manufacturers including NobelSport and Federal, for several different applications. Although it's typically sold to dove, quail and pheasant hunters for its excellent ability to take down fast-moving birds squirrels, rabbits and other small game can easily be hunted with this shot size. With a high pellet count leading to a dense pattern, #7.5 lead shot will give you great stopping power with an optimal range of 35 to 50 yards.

Thanks to stalwarts JD Jones of SSK Industries and Larry Kelly of Mag-na-port International, the 1970s were the heyday for handgun hunters, the decade being filled with design and innovation. Kelly came up with the idea of porting barrels using Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) to reduce recoil, muzzle blast and barrel flip while Jones brought us custom-quality barrels chambered in both standard and wildcat cartridges for Thompson/Center (TC) Contender single-shot frames. Later, they both designed cool, limited run, one-of-a-kind handguns for handgun hunters.

The General Assembly has been called back for session this week. Two anti-gun bills are still before the House for concurrence. Please contact your state representative and ask them to OPPOSE HB 1092 and HB 562. House Amendment 1 to House Bill 1092 widens the definition of family members who can petition for an order that will cause an individual to have their constitutional right suspended, and their property seized. These Firearm Restraining Orders are issued following baseless accusations, and without a hearing or other opportunity for the respondent to be heard in court. This bill also expands the items to be seized, to include ammunition as well as firearm parts.

Virginia cannot afford to elect Glenn Youngkin* and his outdated and harmful stance on gun violence, a June 8 press release statement by Lori Haas, Virginia State Director for the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence announced. His willingness to say anything for a vote is deeply troubling, as weve already seen him cozying up to those with deep ties to those at the forefront of the insurrectionist movement, like Senator Amanda Chase and the domestic terror organization, the Virginia Citizens Defense League.

The U.S. Military used the 1911 through two world wars and then in 1947 the Army began looking at the possibility of adopting a smaller, lighter .45 ACP pistol. Colt engineers came up with an alloy-framed .45 weighing one-third less than the 1911 and having a barrel length of 4-1/4″ compared to the original 5″ length of the 1911. The Army never did adopt such a pistol, however, in late 1949 Colt began offering a commercial version of what is now known as the Commander. With its lighter weight, the Commander is much easier to carry all day 26 oz. as compared to the all-steel 1911 at 39 oz. and makes a major fatigue difference as the day wears on.

In 2016, four people were arrested for carrying concealed weapons at Disney World. In 2020, at least 20 people were arrested for visiting the happiest place on earth while armed. And the 2021 numbers are already on pace to shatter those figures: Through mid-April, police have already arrested at least 14 people at Disney for toting guns. Thats according to an Orlando Sentinel review of sheriffs reports the newspaper obtained through a public records request. In one instance, a South Florida man checked into the Polynesian Village Resort with an AR-15 rifle and a 9mm handgun in his luggage, explaining that he brought them along to protect his wife and two kids from Black Lives Matter protesters, according to a sheriffs incident report.

While most models of Colt's world-famous Python .357 Magnum were service-sized and longer, there were some more abbreviated variants made. First introduced to Colt's 1955 catalog for a price of $125 and pitched as "a finer gun than you actually need" to "a limited number of gun connoisseurs," the big double-action revolvers most common with barrel lengths in 6-inch and later 4-inch formats.

I have had the pleasure and enjoyment of owning Henry Repeating Arms firearms for several years now. I have written of Henry Repeating Arms and their quality Made in the USA firearms and other Henry products for quite some time. Many folks may not be aware of a program that Henry Repeating Arms has initiated and long supported named Guns for Great Causes. The program has been around since at least 2006 and has raised millions of dollars for Great Causes. Henry Repeating Arms is again supporting a wonderful cause this time to commemorate one of the thousands of WWII heroes.

 QUOTES TO REMEMBER
Rifles, muskets, long-bows and hand-grenades are inherently democratic weapons. A complex weapon makes the strong stronger, while a simple weapon so long as there is no answer to it gives claws to the weak. George Orwell
