Public health officials in Washington state are counting people who were fatally injured with a firearm in the tally of COVID-19-related deaths. This decision and it appears to have been made consciously reinforces what we already know about public health officials. |

The .32 S&W Long (7.65x23mm) is a straight-walled, centerfire, rimmed handgun round introduced by Smith & Wesson in 1896. The round, modeled after the .32 S&W cartridge, was made for the S&W Model 1896 Hand Ejector revolver, a precursor to the modern day Magnum handguns.
An extended version of the .32 Smith & Wesson cartridge, the case is a straight-walled, rimmed centerfire similar to the .32 H&R Magnum and .327 Federal Magnum case diameter, but shorter in length. |

Those of us who did not live through the Great Depression and World War II or perhaps the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1961 probably have not seen a period of time where outside forces have combined to make so many feel so unsafe. Without personal safety, enjoyment of the freedoms and liberties our country allows us to experience is not possible. Which is why the protection of the citizenry from threat, both foreign and domestic, has always been the prime mover for populations to form governments.

Gun prohibition lobbying groups have been noticeably silent in the wake of reports from around the country that armed citizens are fighting back against rioters and looters exploiting the death of Minneapolis resident George Floyd, turning out to protect their neighborhoods, and business districts.
When a South Philadelphia gun shop owner fatally shot a man trying to break into his store early Tuesday morning, WCAU News reported it happened amid heightened looting concerns. |

Its not really a head scratcher to comprehend why Americans want to protect their property and lives from looters and the mob. Why a reporter can breezily fabricate history under the banner of one of the nations most-widely read newspapers, on the other hand, definitely qualifies.

As we saw last week with Twitter presuming to fact-check an opinion expressed by President Trump, the legacy media now in collaboration with tech platforms that constitute the modern public square still pathetically cling to the idea that they are perceived as a source of truth by America at large. Polls, however, show that a majority of Americans do not trust the media to report the news accurately.

A black front sight provides the traditional textbook sight picture, but that tome was written years ago. Is it still the ultimate solution? Experts at TruGlo and HiViz explain why their palettes dont rival Sherwin Williams, but lets start with the basics, first. A black front sight on a carry/self-defense handgun is not necessarily ideal as it does not help front-sight focus in all lighting conditions, especially in a situation of increased stress, according to Trevor Young, director of sales at HiViz. Adding contrast is key as it helps acquire the front sight in your peripheral vision long before a solid-black sight would. |

When the .32 Magnum first arrived I did not take it seriously. My friend Joe Penner, who takes all the pictures of me shooting, changed this as he acquired one of the first 9-1/2 Ruger Single-Sixes available. We loaded up some JHPs and searched for suitable targets. I found some out-of-date cans of split-pea soup and since I donft like the stuff anyhow, I figured it would be great for experimenting. Putting a jacketed hollowpoint through the first can at 25 yards changed my mind about the little Mighty Mouse Magnum.

Remington introduced its V3 Tac-13 late in 2018, bucking the firearm industrys more traditional trend of rolling out new guns at the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show or the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits. The company knew it had a winner capable of earning headlines on its own, though. It was listed as the second-most popular semi-automatic shotgun in sales on Gunbroker.com during 2019. However, this description is misleading, as the Tac-13 is, legally and technically speaking, not a shotgun at all. In its current configuration, it's a non-NFA, shotshell-firing firearm.

Thats Stoegers M3500. Stoeger Industries is a division of firearms owned by the Beretta dynasty but made in Turkey.
