The Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club is hosting an Open House Range Day on June 18.The free event includes a firearms safety course, the opportunity to shoot pistols, rifles and shotguns, and a snack lunch. Guns, ammunition and targets are provided and instructors/safety officers will accompany each visitor while shooting. You can bring your own firearm and ammunition; range officers will determine if it is appropriate for the facility.

A MAN was arrested after a stun gun and air pistol were found in a car.
The discovery was made when police were called to Great Clowes Street, Higher Broughton, at 12.30pm on Friday following reports of a man with a handgun. Officers searched a car on the street and found the weapons.
The man, believed to be in his forties, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and bailed. |
