Two separate guests at Disney World have recently reported their guns going missing from their cars, which were parked in the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom lots, respectively. Marshall Fox reported his gun missing after arriving back home in Texas following a weeklong trip to Disney World in mid-June, according to a police report from the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Fox, 56, claims he last suspected the gun went missing from his locked glove compartment sometime after he had a valet park his car at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort and he alleged that the crook who nabbed the firearm left a stapler inside the holster "to mimic the weight of the gun," police said. |

Remember Eric Swalwell? No, I wouldnt either except that I recently wrote a piece about his blockheaded proposal to limit ammo possession to 200 rounds, which was only notable because hes a USA Representative and was running for President at the time. Well, now hes out of the race and guns are probably the reason for his dropout. Gunpowder Magazine reported that he dropped out of the 2020 Presidential race days after a Twitter poll he posted backfired dramatically. |

Despite new open carry legislation, the Moody County Courthouse and other county properties will be off limit to all weapons, the County Commission has decided. The law, which permitted open carry beginning July 1, allows for the county commission to enact stricter rules, which will be posted at the entrances of the building. I dont think we need to have everybody carrying guns inside the courthouse, said Sheriff Troy Wellman. |

Due to customer demand, Bond Arms is introducing an affordable version of the company's high-end, compact handguns. The new Rough Series handguns feature two models: the Roughneck and the Rough N Rowdy. "The rough finish adds quite a cool factor to the Roughneck and the Rough N Rowdy," says Dylan Hunsucker, spokesman for Bond Arms. "We do minimal clean-up and deburr to ensure there are no sharp edges, and then we bead-blast the finish. There is no sanding and polishing of the frame, which takes enormous amounts of time and adds to the cost of our higher-end firearms. |

Politicians said that gun-control would make us safer. That sounds good, but it isnt what we see. One reasons is gun-control disarms innocent women. Taking the tools of self-defense away from women leaves them at a physical disadvantage.
Why did politicians and the news media ignore these issues while they were shouting for more gun-control? |

We don't have to look very far to hear things like, I hate the NRA. Seems like every left leaning politician running for president has said this more than a few times. They blame the NRA for the hundreds of thousands of mass shootings that happen every single day killing millions. OK, I may have exaggerated that a little bit. |

When 16 million Americans were called to serve America and over two million soldiers sent to the European or Pacific theaters during World War ll, the M1 Garand rifle was by their side. This legendary fighting platform still creates waves of nostalgia through our military veterans, military historians and firearms enthusiasts. The M1 Garand was as versatile as it was reliable, able to operate through the freezing temperatures during the Battle of the Bulge to the hot and humid Pacific Rim Islands, easy to use for a green recruit and accurate enough for a skilled sniper. |

Dennis Wallace Haggerty is not supposed to have guns. His felony convictions -- assault with a firearm and shooting at an unoccupied dwelling -- terminated that constitutional right. Yet when parole agents with an arrest warrant searched his girlfriends Spring Valley home in May, they found a loaded pistol in a closet and an AR-15-style gun in her SUV, which hed allegedly borrowed the night before, according to a search warrant affidavit filed by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. |

The dust is starting to settle after Washington's Initiative 1639 and new federal laws last week changed how Washington gun stores sell semi-automatic rifles and handguns. Since the law went into effect, Cowlitz County Sheriff Brad Thurman said Monday that he hasn't heard any major complaints about making sales or transfers from gun sellers. The records department hasn't noticed an uptick in background checks yet, he said, although he cautioned that it's still early on in the process. |

The band is back together. After a several-year hiatus, Federal has teamed up with bullet-makers Nosler and Barnes to reintroduce loads with Accubond and TSX projectiles. I hunted with the Federal 180-grain Barnes TSX in .30/06 last fall, and it delivered accuracy as fine as ever. Pennsylvanias top prosecutor said Tuesday he does not intend to use new unilateral authority to prosecute gun crimes in Philadelphia under a state law passed after criticism of the city district attorneys handling of gun law violations. A spokesman for Attorney General Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, said he sought the so-called concurrent jurisdiction with county district attorneys across the state but did not ask for it to be limited to the city, as provided in the version that passed the Legislature last month. |

The eXergy, or XRG, line of bullets were created by Sellier & Bellot as an alternative to lead ammo without losing any performance or stopping power. These are hollow point bullets capped with aluminum to make sure they retain their shape in the air, while expanding rapidly upon impact with a target. This company did extensive testing while creating these bullets, and they can be considered a premium type of hunting ammunition due to the way they are made, the excellent performance and the ability to take down even the largest game animals at long range.
