The 6mm ARC vs 6.5 Grendel is worthy of debate since both cartridges have the same parent cartridge.
Both were designed for the AR-15 platform for similar reasons, so which one does the job the best? |

In the May 1929 issue of American Rifleman, Elmer Keith wrote his famous dissertation, The Last Word. In it, Keith describes the virtues of his famous #5 sixgun, a custom job built on a Colt SAA platform modified to Elmers specifications. It made the gun more user friendly for his daily tasks as a cow puncher. The most distinguishing characteristic of the #5 is the grip frame comprised of blending a Colt Bisley backstrap mated to the front strap/trigger guard of a Colt SAA. |

The phrase Its a good holster is something I have heard time and time again. We see it regularly stated in conversations, magazines, forums, blogs, and countless videos across the internet, but what does that even mean? Surely if its good, then obviously, it does what it is supposed to do. How do we, as consumers and concealed carriers, have any idea as to what is good?

The Uvalde school shooting report reveals that 376 law enforcement personnel arrived at Robb Elementary School on May 24, 2022, in response to reports of a shooting, but it was over an hour until law enforcement was ordered to go inside.
The Associated Press noted, Nearly 400 law enforcement officials rushed to a mass shooting at a Uvalde elementary school, but egregiously poor decision-making resulted in more than an hour of chaos before the gunman who took 21 lives was finally confronted and killed. |

In 2013, I got my first clinic in standing up to insufferable leftists when I watched Ben Shapiro demolish British gun-grabber Piers Morgan on CNN. Conservatives need to stop approaching some of the debates with liberals on a conciliatory basis, but recognize that a) people on the left dont want to change their minds, and b) its not going to be a civil debate, anyway, so stop crying when they dont play fair and denigrate themselves into name-calling and demagoguery.

From Judge Dale Drozd's opinion in Clifton v. U.S. DOJ (E.D. Cal.), filed Friday:
In 2001, plaintiff was in eighth grade at Mt. Vernon Middle School in Los Angeles, California. He was thirteen years old at the time. Because plaintiff's mother had passed away and he never knew his father, plaintiff then lived with his grandmother. His grandmother's husbandplaintiff's step-grandfatherwas physically and mentally abusive toward both plaintiff and his grandmother. |

Since the U.S. Supreme Court handed down its decision in NYSRPA v. Bruen affirming the Second Amendment right to bear arms for protection outside the home, New York politicians have been on the warpath against the right to self-defense. Despite Gov. Kathy Hochuls (D) and the N.Y. State Assemblys best (and unconstitutional) efforts, New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg has managed to upstage the lawmakers in the ongoing assault on freedom.

Critics are lashing out after a man carrying a pistol stopped a mass shooting at an Indiana shopping mall, arguing the man should not be called a "Good Samaritan." "The term, Good Samaritan came from a Bible passage of a man from Samaria who stopped on the side of the road to help a man who was injured and ignored," wrote CBS4 traffic anchor Justin Kollar on Twitter Monday. "I cannot believe we live in a world where the term can equally apply to someone killing someone my God."

After the U.S. Supreme Court decided, in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen, that, yes indeed, law-abiding citizens can carry their Second Amendment freedoms outside their homes, the New York State Assembly and Senate passedand Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) signed into lawa sweeping new list of gun-control laws that includes a list gun-free zones so long that, when it goes into effect September 1, carrying for self-defense will be, practically speaking, impossible. |

The New York State anti-Second Amendment law, enacted under an extraordinary session brought about by Governor Hochel, is blatantly unconstitutional under the terms of the recent Bruen decision by the Supreme Court. Several provisions of the law are likely to be struck down. This article focuses on the requirement to provide social media accounts and the practical mechanisms, which mean very few permits will be approved under this provision. |
