"'The government of the most powerful country on earth has fallen into the hands of extremists...,' writes George Soros in his 2003 book The Bubble of American Supremacy. '[T]he far right is in power in the United States... [P]resident Bush came to office without a clear mandate - he was elected president by a single vote on the Supreme Court.' With these words, Soros threw down the gauntlet. He declared the Bush presidency tyrannical and illegitimate. Unlike other Democrats, however, Soros has the money, the power and the experience to put his inflammatory rhetoric into action." ...
"Curiously, Hillary Clinton told the New York Posts Cindy Adams on March 30 that an October Surprise would likely decide the 2004 election. "It will be outside forces something unforeseen that suddenly happens that tilts the election one way or the other," she predicted, with an odd note of certainty. (29)"
"Was Hillary just guessing? Or does she know something we dont? In the remaining installments of this three-part series, we will examine further evidence that Velvet Revolution may be brewing among the Party of the Left." |

"During his campaign for the presidency in 2000, George W. Bush took a dramatic step: a vow to support the ban on assault weapons, enacted in 1994 for a 10-year period.
"'It makes no sense for assault weapons to be around our society,' Mr. Bush declared."
"Since then, the president's advisers have repeatedly affirmed his support for the ban, a position that has helped him appeal to moderate voters and demonstrate independence from the powerful gun lobby. But in the middle of a presidential election year, and with only five working days left in Congress before the law expires at midnight on Sept. 13, the issue has become a hot potato that no one in the Bush administration seems eager to touch." ... |

QUESTION: Regarding your article on cleaning guns, is it true that one can ruin a bore by cleaning from the muzzle end? If so, how would you clean a semi-automatic or any other gun that does not give access from the breech end?
ANSWER: Many gun manufacturers are crowning the muzzles to protect the sharpness of the lands and grooves. Even so, it is easy to damage the rifling with a brush or cleaning rod. Damaging the lands or grooves can quickly ruin the accuracy of a good rifle. For this reason, it is good advice to remove the bolt whenever possible, to clean the bore from the breech end."

"The family of a man killed during a drunken brawl outside an Aberdeen nightclub pleaded for a curb on binge drinking yesterday."
"Raymond Duncan, 27, died last Boxing Day after he was punched, kicked and stamped on following a Christmas night out at a city-centre club."
"And at the High Court in Glasgow yesterday, his teenage killer was sentenced to eight years behind bars for the unprovoked attack."
"Martyn Anderson, 18, of 158 Cairngorm Drive, Aberdeen, was described as a "man of violence" by temporary judge Rita Rae QC, after being found guilty of culpable homicide." ... -------
