As an instructor, I have often longed for something to bridge the gap between .22 LR and 9 mm Luger, at the very least from a recoil standpoint. Some might say that niche belongs to .380 ACP, but I think that its feel sits too close to the 9 mm to truly fulfill that role. |

Banning civilian gun possession on all university property does not violate the Second Amendment, a state appeals court has ruled. The Michigan Court of Appeals ruled on Friday that Article X, the University of Michigans policy of banning guns on all university property, is legally permissible. It determined that the entire campus qualified as a sensitive place. |

A gun range operator in Massachusetts is sounding the alarm as sweeping gun control legislation makes its way through the state's Democratic-controlled legislature. The Act of Modernizing Firearms Laws would mandate registration for every gun and its accompanying feeding system, bar citizens under 21 from buying or carrying a rifle or semi-automatic shotgun, and ban the carrying of firearms on private property without explicit permission, according to a report. |

With many prominent government officials exhibiting a flagrant indifference to violent crime, its getting harder for anti-gun politicians to pretend that their gun control schemes are anything other than a means to harass law-abiding gun owners. Recent incidents from anti-gun jurisdictions St. Louis and the District of Columbia further illustrate this point. |

The National Republican Senatorial Committee is going after three vulnerable Senate Democrats for allegedly infringing on the Second Amendment rights of veterans. A new series of ads, targeting Sens. In 2002, Democrat lawmakers in New Jersey passed a first-of-its-kind bill to restrict the handguns that could be sold at retail in that state to smart guns (called personalized guns in the bill). The law would take effect once the states attorney general determined that at least one manufacturer had delivered at least one production model of a personalized handgun to a registered or licensed wholesale or retail dealer anywhere in the country. |

If there were ever two handgun cartridges that could be classified as ubiquitously American, then it would be the 45 Long Colt and the 45 Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP). With a combined service life of over two centuries, both have served as the sidearm cartridge for the U.S. Army and are still used in various applications today in civilian circles.

If you make a move, make it a big move! That must have been what Fabrique Nationale (FN) must have thought when this gun was designed. The PS90 is distinguished in not owing its design to any other gun. Not even Captain Kirk of Star Trek fame used a phaser as cool as the PS90! |

Im not a character worthy of a John Wick movie, but its tough to avoid the tacticool vibes when you pull out a double-tube-fed 12-gauge bullpup KelTec KSG, which has spent a fair amount of time on the silver screen with the legendary gunslinger. Theres a lot to like about this compact shotgun that offers a 14+1 capacity.

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
"Secrecy is the keystone of all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy ... censorship. When any government, or any church, for that matter, undertakes to say to it's subjects, 'This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know,' the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything. You cannot conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him." --Robert A. Heinlein, "Revolt in 2100" (Pg. 68-69, Baen Books paperback edition, 1999 printing) |
