... "And in a Bizarro parody of the Declaration of Independence that, true to the nature of all 'progressive' claims means just the opposite of what they say, they demand government control the populace in an even more 'perfect,' that is, perfectly totalitarian union. Considering that Bloomberg and his fellow mayoral travelers are government 'officials,' its akin to British colonial officials penning the foundational document from 1776 to argue George III needed more power." ... |

"A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. I turned my head to the door and said, 'Come on in.' Nurse N. opened the door, and pushed along a cart with a laptop on top. Nurse N. is a pleasant woman, ready to retire. She takes my blood pressure and pulse, then returns to the laptop and enters my vitals. She asks a few questions. Have you been feeling this, have you been feeling that. She clicks the mouse recording my answers. 'Now I am going to ask you some mental health questions,' she says, moving the mouse around. 'Have you been feeling any symptoms of depression?' . . ." ... |

Well, I, for one, will pick up that gauntlet Ill say to anyones face my right is more important than your dead, because I fought for it first hand I did more things than people can imagine. "St. Louis Gun Rights Examiner has discussed New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's racist 'stop-and-frisk' policies for years. Ostensibly to combat 'gun violence,' the NYPD ignores the Fourth Amendment rights of over 800,000 New Yorkers per year, only about nine percent of whom are white, finding an 'illegal gun' about 0.15% of the time. That's about once per 667 searches." ...
"... In the wake of the City Council vote, though, Bloomberg has doubled down on his bigoted, authoritarian, tin pot dictator role, and has the audacity to claim that the NYPD does not engage enough in racial profiling. ..." ... |

"Why is a New York mayor talking to you about the next governor of Illinois?"
"In a video released Monday (embedded), New York City's Mayor Michael Bloomberg asks and then answers that very question in his endorsement of Illinois gubernatorial candidate Bill Daley." ...
"Bloomberg noted his personal beliefs that favor gun control in the video while assuring that as governor, Daley would fight for 'common sense' gun laws." ... -------
KABA Note: At 0:50 hizzonner starts to display the insanity of the antis, first stating that Billy will push for (statewide) 'universal' background checks and (statewide) mag capacity limits, then barely pausing to take a breath he says Billy believes in "respecting the rights of local communities to decide what gun laws work for them." |

"Two bills aimed at luring gunmakers to Michigan are being discussed in Lansing."
"Sen. Tom Casperson introduced the measure which would create Arms Related Manufacturing (ARM) zones."

Due to recent restrictive legislation being proposed and enacted in their home states, some gun manufacturers are increasingly looking to other states as a possible new home for their respective businesses." ... |

In California our politicians think they can legislative all to safety through more constrictive gun laws and programs. One of these programs is called APPS which stands for Armed Prohibited Persons System and is aimed with taking away guns from people who shouldn't have them. On paper this sounds like it is taking assault weapons out of the hands of serial killers, but in reality this is taking weapons away from a whole bunch of non-gang members. NRA News put together a great video interviewing former DOJ Special Agent Greg Cameron and the absurdity of wasting time, money, and man power chasing after folks through the APPS program. |

"In Belton, TX, the 4th of July parade is an event with deep and long standing traditions. Since 1850 the town has held an annual parade to celebrate Independence Day. For much of that history, Color Guards and, more recently, civil war re-enactors have marched in the parade with slung or carried rifles."
"This year will be different. After the organization, Open Carry Texas, signed up (and was approved) to march in the parade with their rifles, the insurance company is now saying all guns will be disallowed if the parade wants to keep its insurance that is." ... |
