From the late 1950s to the early 2000s, two of the most popular rimfire cartridges on the planet were the 22 Long Rifle and the 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire, otherwise known as the 22 WMR or 22 Mag. Generations of shooters (myself included) were taught how to shoot using a 22 LR bolt-action rifle before hunting varmints like coyotes and groundhogs with a 22 WMR. |

Should you be so unfortunate as to live in Maryland, and more unfortunate as to own an AR-15, youre a criminal, as the Fourth Circuit Court recently affirmed. This despite the Supreme Courts Heller, McDonald and Bruen decisions having made clear the Second Amendment acknowledges the individual right to self-defense in ones home and elsewhere, and common and usual weapons are presumptively constitutional. Unfortunately none of those decisions specifically mention the AR-15, the most popularcommon and usual--rifle of its type in America. |

I was once perusing my local gun forum and someone posted a question, Which is better for big game hunting in North America? 300 Win Mag or 300 WSM? The users who answered all began debating differences in ballistics, case capacity, terminal performance, and ammo selection.
However, Id like to pose a simpler answer: Yes! |

Vice President Harriss campaign has pushed back on criticism of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walzs military background, saying the vice-presidential nominee misspoke in a video pushing for gun control when saying he used combat weapons during his time in the National Guard.
Submitter's note: It should say "Vice President Harris's campaign issued a correction of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's statement on his military background" |

A friend compared two handguns. One of them was lighter, smaller, and easier for him to carry. The larger handgun was slightly more accurate when he was shooting quicky. I didnt see this choice as a problem, but my friend did. He isnt that far away from the rest of us.
Tens of millions of us have become gun owners in the last few years. There is a difference between a defender and a someone who shoots for sport. Lets start with what they have in common. |

NRA members know that there are plenty of excellent ways to exercise Second Amendment rights, such as continuing Americas hunting heritage, enjoying or competing in the shooting sports, or developing a firearm collection. However, the most important aspect of the Second Amendment is that it preserves the individual right to keep and bear arms to defend oneself, family, and community. |
