He was found guilty at Hull Crown Court in June of theft, possessing firearms and giving false information. Sentencing Pearson at Sheffield Crown Court yesterday, Judge Robert Moore told him: "There was both a danger and a gross breach of trust. The pistol was a dangerous firearm that could have got into criminal hands." I'd say it DID get into criminal hands. :-)
